Yeah yeah, we get it. But it's not always the case. Consoles tend to get much better exclusives and PC ports (exclusives even) can be awful, even today.
With great power comes great responsibility, and there are many irresponsible publishers and developers that port shit to PC.
In that aspect, consoles are better as gaming devices. Not as powerful, but better. And I'm a PC gamer.
Nope, but I'll sand down my monitor stand.
What do you mean it didn't work well because of the limitations of the system? I played Halo 4 splitscreen coop with a friend and it seemed just fine to me, and I'm sensitive to framerate drops.
Never understood the need for it or the problem with it. It's just not important.
Meh, more overblown requirements.
The only thing that has actually been true so far with next-gen games is the amount of RAM needed. Such a small, cheap thing, yet it causes the worst performance issues when there isn't enough of it.
I'll be upgrading from 6 to 8GB soon. Watch dogs said 6GB minimum, and yet it stutters like absolute madness.
After MGSV was announced for PC, Tomb Raider is irrelevant to me.
I'm buying it, I'm buying it ten times!
THANKS KOJIMA!
I like the fact that they're telling both sides of the story with Rogue. After all, the Templars are maybe not all that bad, just on a different side from the Assassins.
I wish this comes out on PC. I'm dying for more AC4 and this looks to be exactly that, but from a different perspective. Also, Haytham! I love that smug bastard.
DayZ will come to the Xbox One as well. Count on it. There was no mention of console exclusivity in the entire speech.
I'm disappointed by both, honestly. The best thing I saw, honestly, was Quantum Break. I can't wait until it inevitably comes to PC.
I'm with you on the fact that this is the stupidest decision in a while, but I'm expecting a later multiplatform release.
It will never sell enough to stay XBone exclusive. Not to mention the fact that most third party Xbox exclusives end up being timed exclusives.
That would definitely be the creepiest thing I've played. The beginning also, walking by the dead baby in it's room..
Well.. Government agencies commit the most heinous crimes, and yet when someone else does something suddenly the government that does shit is the one who is branding others as terrorists.
Terrorism depends on the point of view and the agenda. Modern Warfare 2 showed exactly that in the No Russian mission. Killing is just killing, it doesn't matter if it's done by the government or the supposed terrorists.
Everyone should. There should be visible progress between new generations of consoles. That's not to say that games automatically aren't good if they aren't 1080p/60fps. But to say there isn't a difference between 720p/900p/1080p and 30fps/60fps.. You've got to get your head checked. 60fps, 1080p should be a standard, a rule for this gen. If not.. A mid-range PC can push 60fps in 95% of games @ 1080p and at higher settings than consoles. There's always that.
Hell yeah, Red Dead Redemption deserves a next-gen release.
I'd like to add Red Dead Redemption and Metal Gear Solid 4 to the list.
What's the other game that went multiplatform?
More likely snowmobiles.
I finished Black Flag twice and got half way through my third playthrough when I've finally had enough. It's an amazing game. Come to think of it.. I sort of want to play it again.
Get it, trust me. Both are excellent games.
