Not a bad game, but the optimization is pretty awful. Framerate ranges from 30 to 120 in just a few steps. I believe that a new PC version is to be released with the next-gen console versions, which is what I'm waiting for. It just performs too horrible in the current state.
I predict a 6/10 game.
You do realize that consoles are still susceptible to piracy? Just wait until someone hacks the PS4 or Xbox One.
The number could have been much higher. I think the size of the game is a massive deterrent.
By the way. Games leak first on consoles. Weeks in advance. It's an extreme rarity that a PC game leaks on the net before the official release date.
It's your right to have an opinion as well, and it's my personal preference that I like games in which cars behave like you would expect a car to behave and not like freaking RC cars.
It's sad that a supposed next-gen game looks only marginally better than a poorly made PC port from 2008 that is GTA IV. And is as optimized as the aforementioned GTA IV PC version.
I don't consider WD worth 60$, especially because I listen to people who are play...
That's what kids who don't know shit said.
I'd still rather play GTA4 than Watch Dogs. I'm completely going to skip WD because the driving just ruins it for me. Same as Sleeping Dogs and Saints Row.
Why can't developers look up to GTA4 and Mafia 2?
I have nothing against a different race and sexuality being portrayed in video games, but to say that more diversity is a MUST in video games is not really true.
Race, sexuality and stereotypes are not what videogames are about. Gender and race differences are not something that games are nor should be built around.
Games are meant to be played for fun, entertainment. Let's keep them away from the typical racist and anti-racist bullshit and controversy. T...
This title is giving me the shits. No one cares. Not one bit.
Meh, this isn't a difference really. When games start to do things that are completely undoable on last-gen consoles, THAT is the difference.
For example Infamous and it's awesome particle effects.
Not to say PS4 games doesn't look substantially better than PS3 games, but so far the difference comes down to framerate, resolution and shadow quality/ambient occlusion.
I'm more looking forward to later games. That will be true ...
The fact that it's a cross-gen title means it will run on PC pretty much the same as FC3. Which is a good thing.
I thought it was already confirmed to be 1080p 30fps..
I understand why people like it, but it's not my cup of tea I'm afraid. I haven't really liked anything Insomniac made after Resistance 1 (but I never played the Ratchet games, never had the extra money for them, didn't consider them a priority). It does look innovative, I have to admit.
I don't think Kevin Spacey has much to do with that, the game seems fresh and CoD games haven't felt fresh since CoD4.
I could be mistaken though, the game just might come out as garbage.
Can someone please explain what spinning off the Xbox business actually means?
This article jumps the gun on the game. Sure, it seems interesting from the one single trailer we have, but nothing is proven still. Ghosts looked interesting the first time I saw it and it's shit, just like MW2, MW3 and WaW before it.
Black Ops I like. Not sure why, but I like it.
I can't believe the day has arrived when I am anticipating the release of a Call of Duty game. Well done Sledgehammer, well done.
But have you played Bioshock 1 recently?
It's not as good looking as you remember it to be. This would be a huge upgrade.
For one, that would be counter productive. For two, gamers would lose because competition is what drives the games forward.
I did specifically say THIS generation, didn't I?
Watch_Dogs, AC:IV, The Division, The Crew, heck, even last-gen games such as Splinter Cell Blacklist and Far Cry 3 were outstanding. They have released way too many AC games, I do agree on that point, but to be fair, they're much more diverse than Call of Duty and Battlefield ever were and they've put themselves back on the right track with AC:IV.
They were made by a studio that doesn't exist anymore though.
