As someone who has played SE V2 and is now playing SE3, I can say that this review is full of crap. The game definitely deserves an 8/10 MINUMUM. SE V2 was a game all about sniping and the X-ray killcam. SE V3 is about doing the sniping right, being stealthy, silent, deadly. In retrospect, SE V2 was more of a tech demo compared to SE3.

They back their arrogance up with quality products, though.

1. The maps are well designed and fun, also the existence od rush only and conquest only maps which made those maps PERFECT for the chosen scenario. They were built to scale, not too large, not too cramped. There's not a single map that well balanced in both BF3 and BF4.

2. Campaign doesn't take itself too seriously (although BC1's campaign was better than 2's.), singleplayer levels were completely open in BC1.

3. Destruction felt more direct,...

When I said unique, I meant it.

What PC game is near the atmosphere, polish, multiplayer and world Killzone offers?
Prototype is nowhere near as polished and fun as Infamous - guess that's what big budgets do.
Oh, and which sci-fi FPS is like Halo? I honestly don't know a single PC game similar to Halo other than Halo 1 and 2 themselves. And you're comparing CS and TF2 to Halo? Only in success maybe, nothing about these games have a single thing ...

What exactly do you consider "deeper"? I am a PC gamer and I have to say that the simpler a game is, the more I like it.

Actually, the biggest gripe I have with today's games, right alongside too many cutscenes and not enough gameplay/interaction, is the fact that devs cram way too many things into a game which don't exactly fit, while the budget spent towards building that nonsense could have been utilized in perfecting and refining gameplay elements that a...

Red Dead and Metal Gear Solid are the ones that are missed the most on PC. I have my fingers crossed for MGS5PC, but I gave up on RDR for PC. Which is such a big shame.

All hope is on you, Kojima. Give us a MGS game on PC again.

Always, but what kind of optimization can we expect?

I mean, what I've read so far doesn't sound too good for Capcom's cash flow. I'm not buying an unoptimized piece of trash, no way.

The emphasis here is on "some" people. The start of the game is the only "meh" thing about it. After that it becomes Dead Space as it always was, only on a much, much larger scale.

I was just drooling over the possibility of a next-gen Dead Space. Finished DS1 only yesterday, the only one I haven't finished yet. It's still an excellent, excellent game. All 3 are very good games.

3 has a rough start, I have to admit, but it develops into an excellent game none the less.

It runs like crap as it is, my guess is it wouldn't run at all if they kept the E3 graphics. It's Ubisoft, what can you expect, they only released 2 quality PC ports - SC Blacklist and FC3 - and even those games were plagued with issues at first.

I'm not doubting them, they and Santa Monica are the best first party developers Sony has, but a lot of other developers don't grasp the concept that even if the game looks photo-realistic, if it plays like a slideshow the effort has gone to shit.

We've had a lot of that going around in the PS3 era.

Graphics mean nothing if the framerate is shit.

I ran Battlefield 4 with 4GB DDR3 and it stuttered and kept freezing for 2-3 seconds at a time. It's the reason I upgraded to 6GB, now it runs okay, albeit with a hitch here and there, because the 6GB is nearly maxed out. Framerate isn't the problem, the stuttering is.

It's not badly optimized at all, it runs the same as Battlefield 4, possibly better. The thing is, the minimum requirements for BF4 were a complete and outright lie. The game is virtually unplayable with only 4GB DDR3, 6GB is barely enough.

I want to know if anyone even tried running BF4 with an HD3870 and Core2Duo the minimum requirements suggested. My guess is no, no one in their right mind thought the game could run smoothly with those specs. Heck, I have a GTX 760 an...

Every single year it's the same thing. E3 sucks to everyone, MS won, no Sony won, no Nintendo won..

I watched every conference and I enjoyed Sony's and Ubisoft's the most. I was disappointed by Microsoft's because they showed no love for the PC community with the Halo collection, which was the only thing I can actually remember about it. That, and AC:Unity's gameplay.

Sony showed what I personally liked. MKX, Batman, Uncharted and you can&...

Absolutely no choices are being taken away from AMD users.

AMD optimizes games the same way Nvidia does and AMD has partnerships with developers as well. It's just Nvidia is better at their job than AMD. They optimize drivers faster, more regularly and offer additional solutions such as Physx.

You can't really blame Nvidia for anything because they are giving MORE to games, not taking away from them.

I recently switched from a HD785...

I have to admit, Phil Spencer is a great guy, at least from what the media present him as. He and Yoshida might just end this stupid feud between the Xbox and PS camp.

@Qwark Really? I thought they were closed for good after Deadpool. But still, they aren't the ones making this one.
I really enjoyed the previous two entries. Maybe I'll enjoy this one too, fingers crossed.
