Vista actually became a decent operating system after SP1. SP2 makes it a solid OS. I love the anecdotes about how much Vista sucks. Just shows how bad people make themselves look in a lame attempt to discredit Microsoft.
Is the hard drive on the new model harder to upgrade than the hard drive on the old model? Because $200 to do it sounds rather expensive. The drive is about $40 - $45, so it must take some serious labor.

Picked up my copy of Avatar on Blu-ray day 1. I don't care if it was bare bones. The more than 46GB of movie data on the disc really shows on-screen. When PS3 released I was skeptical about whether Blu-ray was the right choice for Sony. But 3 years later I'm so happy that they did. I love movies as much as I love games, hell maybe even more.
The PS3 is a beast. Awesome games and an excellent movie machine.
That's too bad. Not buying a Playstation 3 means missing out on some awesome games. I'm not sure that the line the article draws in the sand is a very good one, but to each his own.
If you play through Heavy Rain a second time the first hour or so is pretty painful in terms of the slow pace. The first time through not so much.
At least you have the option to start at pretty much any place you want to. That really helps.
He may have a point. I think that if it is true it will definitely put Microsoft at a disadvantage since they don't have the first-party support that Sony has.
As a publisher, when you have the chance to sell your game to 80 million people as opposed to 40 million you're probably going to chase the money. Unfortunately things like fanbase and loyalty tend to go right out the window when it comes to making money.
Linux is different from Windows, but not necessarily better. It all depends on what you're doing. Many have said that Linux is better for programming, but it isn't necessarily. Once again, it all depends on what you're looking for. Java development is no different on Linux than it is on Windows. I know folks that use Linux to compile Java and swear that it compiles faster. But I'd argue that they need to look at how they've structured their packages and try to clean up their code a bit.

I'm happy that this game is coming out now. I'm so tired of shooting and blood and death all over the place. This seems like it's going to be a breath of fresh air. Pair this up with Modnation Racers later in May and it looks like a win for just plain fun. Can't wait!
$40 brand new? Day 1 for me, then!
I don't know that the next GTA will be a graphical powerhouse. The game never has been known as much for awesome visuals as it has the story and open-world gameplay. But Rockstar might surprise us.
Jet Set Radio Future is a better game! Too bad the emulation of the original disc has so much slowdown and screen tearing on the 360. It's one of my favorite Xbox games. I'd buy it again as a download if they fixed those issues.
Classic SEGA right here. I so wish they would just go ahead and make another Jet Set Radio. I still have the Dreamcast disc in my collection. My Xbox came with Jet Set Radio Future as a pack-in and I instantly loved it. Is it too much to ask for another round?
Come on SEGA, open the vault and let the kids today see what you're really made of!

No. Not really. I downloaded Flow and Rag Doll Kung-Fu because they were free. But I wouldn't have paid for either of them. So the corporation never would have gotten the equivalent amount money from me.
