Crispy fried with blue cheese, please.
Apparently not.
You must like Motorstorm a lot more than I do, because I think it is merely average. It's a solid game, but way too short on content for 60 bucks. I think Dirt's much better.
In my opinion support for the original Xbox died long before Microsoft pulled the plug. I loved it early on in its life, but toward the end the really good games just stopped coming.
I really like my 360, and I hope that Microsoft supports it longer than it supported the first one.
Microsoft puts an HDMI port in the 360 and people get upset about it? I realize that those of us who are early adopters might be upset about it, but that's the price you pay for early adoption.
I don't know why 360 haters would even post in this topic. There's really no downside to added functionality. So what if it isn't HDMI 1.3? Most of the differences betwen 1.2 and 1.3 aren't going to make a bit of difference as far as games go, and most HDTV's can't even take advantage o...
I wouldn't give people who watch SD on an HDTV a too hard of time. There's not exactly a ton of good HD programming out there right now. I buy every bit of HD that my cable company offers and honestly it's like 20 channels. I get all of the major networks and about 16 other channels. Most of it really sucks most of the time.
Not everyone's a fanboy. People who frequent gaming sites are going to know what's in their box, but many people just want to play games. They don't care about system specs because as long as the games are fun it doesn't really matter.
If you sit and think about your CPU, GPU or disc drive while you're playing games you aren't having as much fun as you could be having.
Well nasim, maybe people actually want to play games and not just watch movies. Seriously, you kill me with this stuff. All I know is that as of today, right now, most of the games that are played on my PS3 are PS2 games because most of what's available I've already played on my 360.
The 360 is a good system. It has had its problems, but Microsoft is doing their part to take care of their customers. That just happens to be enough for most people.
I figure with all three consoles on my shelf I've got plenty of gaming goodness to keep me going. And to think that I consider myself a casual gamer. You "hardcore" guys can keep fighting. I've got gaming to do.
I only played the first one. I didn't know that stuff was in the second one.
I'm sure hope she'll be clothed prior to release. I wouldn't want my wife to catch my kids playing it.
I wish that they would release Blu-ray discs with the DVD version on one side and the Blu-ray version on the other. I share DVD's with family, but I'm the only one with Blu-ray. My father-in-law was unhappy when he couldn't borrow my copy of 300. If one side were DVD it wouldn't have been an issue.
I guess he's just going to have to upgrade. ;)
I haven't seen the HD-DVD version, so I can't comment on it. But the Blu-ray is awesome! I love HD movies!
If games are region-coded that it is probably a violation of Nintendo's intellectual property rights to play games on a machine that they are not coded for. So "perfectly legal" in this context may be a bit of a misnomer.
I guess we'll see if this is true or not. If Microsoft sells out of their limited edition Halo console we'll know that you were wrong. If they sit and collect dust, we'll know that you were right.
Although, I have a sneaking suspicion that you will be wrong.
By that same token, when MGS4 releases next year I'm guessing that it won't move consoles either, right? Because we all know that one game can't move hardware. That's never happened before, right?

If the Wii catching up with the 360 means that its days are numbered, does that mean the Wii completely leaving the PS3 at the starting line indicates the PS3 is already dead? What kind of foolish logic is that?
The PS3 outsold the 360 for but one month and suddenly night is falling on the console? It took a $100 price cut for the PS3 to get out of its rut. A price drop for the 360 is only going to help. The fact that you can get a Premium 360 for $150 less than the closest PS3...
But a lot of people will. Halo 3 is what a lot of people have been waiting for, and it will move systems. MGS4 is going to move a lot of Sony hardware next Spring. GTA4 is going to move both systems.
I would put all kinds of BS crap into the P.O.S. system just so I could come here and watch the fanboys tear each other apart over it. That could turn into a great hobby.
Seriously, when was the last time someone saw a core 360 in a store? I know I haven't seen one in months. It won't hurt anything if the core goes away.
People talk about the casual gamer like casual gamers are morons or something. Casual gamers aren't only about buying the cheapest stuff. They want value. The core has limited value in that you have to drop at least another $40 on it to be able to save game progress, which is something even casual gamers want. That means that $...
So 720p is no longer hi def?
