It took forever, but the PSP is finally getting some awesome killer apps.
My career is based on the work of Alan Turing. Thanks for making it rain, Alan!
Not to mention that you eliminate a lot of good gameplay experiences by blindly devoting yourself to a single company. I've had a blast with every console this generation.
A lot of the feedback to this article proves that fanboys really are basically idiots. They also think rather highly of themselves.
So they're not upset about something that never happened. This is incredible news!
@kerrak
Increased portability? You must only mean size, because you can save yourself a ton of money and just get a 16 GB memory stick for your 3000.
Can't wait for this one.
It's not that Japan isn't important. It is. It just isn't the leading market for consoles like it used to be.
Wii continues its downward slide. Nintendo needs to get some awesome software out there.
Mine, too. The 60GB model isn't really all that quiet in terms of fan noise. Optical drive noise is a different matter.
Actually, the fix for most RROD problems is also re-flowing of the solder.
I think the problem is really the requirement to use lead-free solder in electronics these days. These consoles are high-powered and run at temperatures that the solder can't handle.
Heh, everyone trying to divert attention to how bad Microsoft hardware is and not even acknowledging that PS3's break, too.
The only thing I've spent money on for my 360 since I bought it 3 and a half years ago is games. Not sure what you mean by "have to keep wasting money on." Now, for my Wii and PS3 I had to lay out more money for cables. HDMI for the PS3 and a component cable for the Wii. But even at that the better cables were the only additional outlay.
Wow, people are really scraping the bottom of the barrel to find ammo in this silly fanboy war.
You can get a laptop for about the cost of a desktop, depending on what you buy. They aren't more expensive simply because of their size. Having all of the components integrated on one piece of silicon is what makes them more expensive. Desktops use standard motherboards that accept dozens of different types of components. Laptops are closed systems with rigid compatibility requirements.
@cgoodno - I wouldn't be so sure of that if I were you. The PSP Go was created for several reasons that weren't explicitly stated. Look at the problems the PSP has faced. Rampant piracy through custom firmware that is loaded via hacked batteries. Notice that you can't change your PSP Go battery. Ripped UMD software that can be downloaded online and played via memory stick. Notice no memory stick port in the PSP. Relatively high priced new releases on UMD, so many people pick up games in the s...
I wouldn't pay $400 for it.
Seems to me that if people are unhappy with Microsoft's price structure that they'll just decline to be a customer. You only get screwed if you allow yourself to be. One could argue that batteries in a wireless controller that can't be replaced when they go bad is raking the consumer over for new controller purchases. All depends on how you look at it.
I like that the wireless adapter for the 360 is external. That way upgrades like this are possible without having different hardw...
Mustly post them, please. I seriously doubt that my TV or any of my consoles will be getting a virus any time soon.
The diehard PS/Kojima fanboys must be really conflicted right now.
