I don't know, I've seen plenty of extremely high-quality visuals on the 360, and they weren't shooters. Mass Effect still stands out visually, and Forza 3 isn't too shabby either.
There are only a handful of games on the PS3 that approach the visual quality of Uncharted. You can probably count them on one hand. It isn't like that's the norm for that platform, either. Looks like someone went digging for more no-name sites to fan the flames again.
Where the heck are all of the vgchartz haters? If this was negative for PS3 they'd be all over this.
I think it's better that they stay an independent developer, personally. Less corporate interference from the publisher means less compromise to get something out when the suits say it has to be out.
I've been a bigger fan of Naughty Dog all along, personally. I don't think my television was ever lit so brilliantly as when I put that first Crash Bandicoot in my PlayStation. And the first Jak and Daxter game was my favorite PS2 game for quite a long time. It may still be my favorite.
I must watch the wrong channels, because I never see ads for games or systems any more. I've yet to see an ad for either game. The last game I remember seeing any tv spots for was Resistance 2. And Wii Fit, if you call that a game.
Mind sharing some of whatever it is you're smoking?
So tired of shooters. The guy at Gamestop was talking up their midnight release for this game and asked me if my preorder was in. Told him that I wasn't a fan of shooters and he just stared at me.
I can't wait for an original thought to be sparked in the world of game development.
No problems here.
But what if you aren't a hacker and just buy a cheap alternative to a Microsoft product?
Really stupid move. As if selling $35 hard drives for $150 wasn't bad enough. The hard drive is only $50 less than the system.
My personal opinion is that Uncharted 2 is better than MGS4. Others will disagree, I'm sure, but I'm enjoying this more than any game I've played in a while.
Great game.
I'm enjoying my copy, that's for sure.
Totally missed the point.
That was pretty funny. This game is great so far.
Now that it is out the hype will die and people will be on to the next thing. Happens with all hyped games. How many MGS4 articles do we see every day?
Too bad some people can't be restricted to the Open Zone.
It isn't always just the movie, though. Special features and interactive content also take up space. I have several BD movies that have come on multiple discs, one for the movie and one for the special features. So in some cases capacity is already an issue depending on the content that the studios wish to release.
Pitiful.
This is flamebait. This guy doesn't quote any sources other than what he pulled out of his rear-end. Looks like it worked, too.
