Somebody else came up with it before me. Oh well. My money's on your answer! Snake was a clone, after all...
BTW - I LOVE your avatar. I'm giving you bubbles just for that. ^_^
Ok, kids. You got me. I'm sure there are similar prizes presented via Sony's other holdings (ie. SCEE, SCEJ, etc).
But honestly, what are you expecting? The meaning of life? Jess comes out of the woodwork a lá Morpheus and offers you a red pill? Remember what this is for, remember that Home is a gigantic promotional space for various companies (not the least of which is Sony), and that while Xi has arguably made it more interesting, it is still just another 'hook' to ke...
PS3 pwns because I own one.
No other reason is more compelling. I have it, therefore it is better than everything else out there.
Hey, might as well be honest. Screw sales and exclusives; this is about what *I* consider the best console. And I'm always right.
<removes tongue from cheek>
Guys and gals, the moral here is: as long as you're enjoying it - who gives a rat's ass? It's obviously the best console for *you*.
I'd rather pick which games I want and get 'em, rather than pay a fee and download everything that goes up @ the Store.
A $10 buffet sounds like a deal, but doesn't make a helluva lot of sense from a marketing standpoint; wouldn't developers end up losing money? And just what does 'renting' these games mean? It gets deleted after my rental period is up? Can I only play it off the PSN servers?
It all sounds a bit...well, stupid. >_>
Give Microsoft credit??
You MUST be joking. XD
If you don't believe me, go check the site yourself. They had to put the legalese somewhere...I just happened to find it.
Xi is a promotional tool for PS Home.
The 'winner' of the contest will get a half-hour limo ride and have footage of them shot for the conclusion. Assuming you live in the US, of course; otherwise you aren't eligible. And you have to go meet the limo on your own - so unless you live in NY...
Yeah. Pretty lame. Clever way to generate hype though.
(This info is available on the Hub servers, at the Versacorp [or whatever it's called] web site. You have...
I can think of a lot of reasons why I wouldn't want this feature. Stinking up my room would be one of them.
Now, if they come up with a way to stimulate your senses directly (say, electrical impulses? Check out the Emotiv), then that might be an acceptable alternative.
Everybody has a different comfort level with difficulty. Which is why I love adjustable sliders like the one in Oblivion.
Choose your difficulty instead of having to measure up to a pre-set expectation; and that leaves the devs free to focus on making a great game without having to worry about hamstringing it.
Absolutely not - that sort of filth is uncalled for.
But if you want to make a top 10 list of male pecs in games...we won't judge you for it. >_> (Ok, I lied. We will.)
Sorry, I wasn't paying attention. I was too busy playing games on my launch PS3 that has been subject to little more than a few rare screen freezes (which rebooting fixes).
Which is more than I can say for the majority of 360s out there.
It's the Internet. Grow a thicker skin - nobody's trying to smear you.
A slim-line PS3 would be cool, but hardly the novelty everybody was making it out to be. Same goes for it being proved fake.
..What is that, a case-modded PS2? Bah. We'll see! ^_^
At least you have the option. I love my PS3, but man are the communication options annoying.
It's like MGS4 and PoP had a baby. Amazing - it's on my must-have list.
I played with this tech in an arcade ten years ago. Are we supposed to be dazzled? <YAWN>
YES.
For my money, even cross-game audio chat would be welcome. Why should I have to stop everything and go into a chatroom to do that?
For that matter, why is text chat such a chore? I have to pause the game, hit the center button, scroll over to my fiends list (oops, 'friends' sorry) and open the text room, hit enter a couple of times before I can even start texting, write, hit enter again, press the circle button to get out of text mode, and hit the center button to go back to ...
I didn't read the article, or even think much about the question - but the answer is yes. Yes, it is lame.
Maybe the announcement of a collaboration between Kojima and SE at E3?
I know, I know...I'm just playing with ideas.
