How is it possible that we're entering 2010 and we still need a ridiculous looking pair of 3-d glasses to view 3d images?
Bah. Humbug.
Lazy devs that can't be bothered to properly learn the PS3 architecture; so they do a slapdash job on porting. I'll check out the demo, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Didn't look all that great anyway.
Ugly friends list, new logos, a rolling ad banner under the status bar that I can't get rid of, and a bunch of other crap I don't need and rarely use.
I'm underwhelmed and entirely unimpressed.
Batman: Arkham Asylum is still freakin' sweet. And how cool are those Scarecrow scenes? Especially that last one...actually thought I was going nuts for a second. "AIEEEEEE! HARDWARE CRASH??! ..oh, I get it. Phew."
Doesn't look like much of a difference. But I'll hang on to the old SKU and keep my backwards compatibility, thank you very much. Mmm..might be good for playing LAN games, though...
If people are *enjoying* being milked, though; who are we to disillusion them? Go ahead, 360 fans - keep throwing your money at M$; it'll encourage them. I can't wait to see what scheme they come up with next.
It's actually entertaining to watch people get royally jacked and then say "thank you sir, may I have another?"
But only if it refers to the console. ;p
On topic, AC2 doesn't actually sound all that different. "It's more linear!" Oh good. That'll make it far less repetitive, eh?
"..if you intend to do an adult experience for a mature audience, then there's nothing you can't do, and you should certainly not count on me to censor myself, and say I can't do this or don't want to do that because it's too sensitive or too controversial or whatever.
"I do whatever it takes to tell my story, and I hope people will enjoy it, but I'm not playing safe things here, I'm trying things, I'm exploring new ground, and I hope people will appreciate that." ...
360 is taking on a new meaning: 360 ways to kill your console.
I sincerely hope they don't go the 'Intel-only' route for OSX; I don't wanna buy a new computer when the one I've got isn't even fully paid for yet.
..But it got old quickly. Really, is that the best RP you can come up with for 200+ people? Can you imagine what kind of quests you could've completed with an army like that?
But nooooo - 'let's hump everything, jump in the water and die'.
This is why I never got into WoW. ..Especially considering the monthly fees.
..And Microsoft will stop making software, focusing exclusively on fixing the crap hardware they peddle.
Speaking of which, how much do you suppose they paid GIN for this endorsement?
I'll believe this when my crap turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbet.
Why isn't anyone saying the obvious?
"Microsoft needs to re-invent its image with a 360 Slim."
/sarcasm
"Sony needs to reinvent its image with the PS3 Slim"
No it doesn't. Bugger off.
..but remember the power of money.
They start making serious $$$ - boom, PSPorn comes to America.
ahahahaha
"way to perverted from what I've seen in Animes mangas and tv shows"
The award for largest number of Google hits for "preteen": St. Louis, Missouri
Runner up: Seattle, Washington
..Whose country is perverted, again? xD
Mock Activision publicly and privately as money-loving cookie-cutter schlock-peddlers. Make a little 30-second YouTube cartoon about it - or just go on a rant. Like a meme, it'll spread.
Don't buy their stuff, either; but it's a two-pronged attack. Keep it up until the word 'Activision' is synonymous with greed and laziness.
Then watch their share prices plummet. XD
If my PS3 failed on me more than twice, (still playing the launch 60g, btw) I would say "screw this crap" and go buy a Wii or PC.
I mean, f@ck brand loyalty. For my hard earned $, I want something that works.
Contrast that with people who are on their 5th console and still vehemently support it. It's like a battered wife who says "it's ok, we're in love" and keeps coming back for more abuse.
Sad. Really sad.
Bringing television to the PS3 is an interesting idea. That said, I would've been a lot happier with finally bringing downloadable movies to to the SCEA PSN. Where are we with that, Sony?
Especially since reality shows are the absolute worst crap on TV. I'd rather watch infomercials. Waste of time and $...oh wait. Look at all the people defending it. Never mind - obviously there's a market. And I laugh derisively at it.
