Fallout 3 was massively popular, anyone can plainly see from an attention(Media) and a sales(consumer) point of view FO4 will crush Tomb Raider.
The real discussion is whether or not that even matters, and I kinda don't think it does. We'll see come release day, but I feel pretty confident in saying that FO4 isn't going to adversely harm TR.
I'd just let it go, he's on some kind of spirit journey for Kaz and Shuhei. He wanders around aimlessly in the woods and then...Adam Boyes appears a glowing apparition larger and more magnificent than you can imagine, he extends his hands smiling his gentle Canadian smile.
Sleep well sweet Joeorc, your journey is at an end.
@Joeorc
Are you drunk maybe?
I can figure all that shit out from video too! /s
You can see where the building segments itself, just like they do in Screamride. Both games will probably/maybe be a lot of fun, they'll both feature destruction that we just don't see very often especially on consoles. Even Bad Company 1 & 2 where you could collapse buildings is light years behind what we're seeing in JC3 and CD3.
Let's just play the games and see what happens, the needless comparison of two very different UNRELEASED games is just petty. ...
Red Faction Gorilla, heh.
The Order is a tight, tight game and what they do with those environments is very, very pretty. They set a VERY high bar for asset generation and honestly, I can't really think of a linear shooter like The Order that equals it on the PC. I said the same thing about MGS4 way back in the day, some games crush it on a TECHNICAL level, but the art and details are second to none.
I'd take a Captain Price character. His ult makes his mustache grow.
I noticed that too, But I light my game consoles with old Smartphone flash LEDS. So this is actually super relevant to me and my Smartphone flash photography interests.
Something both the writer and GenuineGamer could learn.
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Slow down, the console looks like just about every Halo special edition Xbox ever. I don't care for the design, but really...direct replying to someone with a differing opinion. Good form, GOOD FORM!
Much like Backwards Compatibility and...oh I forget who said it on stage, but someone said something to the effect of "We won't make you pay again for old games you already own" Which was a shot at Playstation Now. It's just part of marketing, you see where you have or could potentially have an advantage and capitalize.
Sony would have been bananas if they didn't hammer home the price difference and the hubbub about used games. That was a golden, golden...
Yeah, all of this is pretty Grade A boring BS.
It was okay.
Right...
OR! We get two excellent games in Uncharted 4 and QB? Uncharted is competition whether you like it or not.
This is N4G, history has no place here.
I don't get it, you'd rather not have your PS4 run PS3 games natively...but pay for them again? Oooookay.
The older Halo's are truly a couple games caught within the limitations of the hardware and time. Halo 1/2 at the time of release were revelations (From a console perspective). The splitscreen, the campaign coop and with Halo 2 the MP party system was really ahead of its time.
Halo 3 is better than H1/H2 but if you're playing by yourself and nothing about Halo 1 or 2 caught you, I'd just duck out now.
Money?
