I don't have any fun playing Driveclub, I'm happy for the people that do though I don't understand it, but there are plenty of things that happen with games I don't understand. All the visuals in the world don't make it fun for me.
I kinda disagree on the notion that GT Sport/7 just won't look better. We don't know yet and Polyphony have shown time and again, with the time and the budget they're wizards.

The Gears remake did nothing but highlight how antiquated that game is. Could people stop touting it like it's worth replaying? It's not. Now a Gears 3 remake? That might have been worth peoples time.
Unless you really dug the Gears 1 multiplayer, that remake was a waste. Rare Replay though, that's a game.

It's a remaster of the Uncharted games without any Multiplayer. I happily picked up The Last of US remaster, but passed on the Uncharted collection without a second thought. For me personally (You may feel different and that's totally cool) one trek through each Uncharted was enough for me.

The silicon inside of the PS4 and Xb1 already can be found in Tablets, all in one PC's and stuff like that. It's really hard to disregard the idea of phones powerful enough to provide an experience worth streaming to the TV, and controlling with a wireless controller.

You can spend far more than 150 on a controller. Sure it's unofficial and custom, but it's pretty easy for me to do that. I'm really not sure what you're getting at, who honestly expects that this controller is going to turn them into an unkillable machine? You can fire your DMR faster sure, but if you could never aim to begin with a shorter trigger pull isn't going to help you.

One is a sim the other is not, one offers hundreds of cars, the other does not. Visually? Yeah it's better than Forza, the rain effects on the windshield in Forza 6 look awful.
Now I'm not going to call you out for having a spotty memory, but there was PLENTY of hype surrounding Driveclub when it got announced and around its release. So please, shhhh.
