@blueshirt
you need to check out www.steampowered.com :P
@Kharhaz
Only console kiddies count the exclusives, they will even go ahead play the exclusives even if the exclusive is garbage.
90% of games out today are multiplat thats a fact. All of us know which platform those run better on.
Its also not about running better PC versions offer Mods, which increases the replayability of the game.
Its the ultimate gaming machine + lots lots more.
Good job Valve. Other DD networks should stop complaining and learn why Valve has the majority of the PC market.
Devs and publishers dont want to ruin their relations with the console maker, which is why they wont flame consoles for pirating.
When a PC exclusive doesnt sell well, piracy is always blamed. However when a console exclusive like Alan wake wont sell well, no one will say a darn thing.
Well its much easier to pirate stuff on console then it is on PC. Even when a PC game does get leaked people are mostly waiting for a crack for it to actually work. With console its just download burn and play.
Yes their is the initial hurdle of getting the console moddded, this can easily be avoided by buying a modded console to begin with.
The reason why EA will not say a word again the 360 is because of Microsofts influence. EA dare not say a word agai...
@reynod
Everytime i game on my PS3 (i dont own a 360 so i cant speak for it), i notice its fulled with 10-12 yr old kids screaming. No wonder PS3 gamers had the lowest amount of points in that challenge.
Decision is simpler for me now not only is the game superior on PC, playing with people that actually work together is what matters most to me.
Why do you think its so hard beating 6 yr old tech on a handheld in todays time?
Translation "why should we invest in a new engine when 20million suckers are buying the game on the old engine anyways".
It will probably be running maxed out on a GPU like 460GTX which costs about 150usd. Just because console hardware is so old it doesnt mean you need monster hardware to max this out, Entry level to midrange hardware should be enough as even thats multiple times more powerful then console.
Now if you want to be running multiple screens thats a different story.
You forgot the keyword here.. on Console. The best looking FPS till date is still Crysis 1 or Metro 2033.
Looks just like Shift 1 to me lol.
I am sure the modding community will find ways to tweak it.
As long as people keep paying they will keep pushing it. Next they will be looking for monthly subscriptions.
You could just buy a new computer or upgrade your current one, its not costly at all these days the prices of games in the longrun will more then save up whatever you pay for the rig.

Check out http://pcsx2.net/
Plays more PS2 games then PS3 slim currently can. So there thats alot of Sony exclusives which arent even running on many PS3s. I am pretty sure by the time PS4 is out, it wont be running PS3 games then we will have those exclusively on PC as well lol.
True lol, Activision probably has the deepest pockets in the industry, look where most of that goes... more advertisements then actual game development.
While consoles are good, i am moving to PC as my platform of choice. Because with console it feels as if i dont have full control of what i paid for. I am not allowed to mod games even though its a proven consoles can handle mods, however the console maker doesnt allow it for whatever unknown reason.
Secondly i do feel BC is a big issue, my Fat PS3 died few months ago, i replaced it with a slim PS3 however now i am unable to play any of my PS2 games :( yea i could run out b...
Many games have been out with such locks only to be unlocked via some hack. Transformers being a recent example.
So you think 30million on Steam alone is afew?
By that count the Xbox 360 or the PS3 arent relevant either.
