PC gamers have a game like witcher 2 coming up, why buy this when Witcher 2 is cheaper, looks better, isnt linear and looks like an overall better game.
Personally i will be buying DA2 on steam when its dirt cheap and includes all the DLCs. No way i am paying for day 1 dlcs.
Ill be getting a new copy when its on discount from Steam maybe at sub 20usd or so in 3-4months :P
True they should fix this asap.
There are a couple of reasons why this can happen. Happened to a friends account, there is either malware on your system or keylogger, send Steam an email they will let you know why they disabled the account. Usually they do it so no one hi jacks your account.
They should unblock it in 2-3days, email them and ask them the reason.
Crysis 2 is Sub hd on both the consoles btw.
So why are its exclusives running in SUB HD? Why arent you (EA) running games in 1080p then when the PC counterpart(running on 3-4yr old hardware) is easily running beyond 1080p.
Steam has bulk of the market. Its like releasing a Console game and purposely not releasing it on retail. How will that work?
Well it did take a while 5970 was released in 2009 i think.
Its just not about graphics mate. Ever played BC2 on console then again on PC?
On console everyone tries to be Rambo, with PC most of the gamers are actually trying to work together. That itself is a huge difference for me. The PC gaming crowd is simply more mature which effects game play.
On console if i am dead there wont be a medic there to res me, PC you actually get ppl assisting you.
Team work > graphics
"Can the PS3 keep up for at least a year?"
Keep up with what? its no where near the PC, sure its ahead of the Xbox 360.
Will you look at the size of that thing. This beast will require a case with a good airflow just overcome heat issues.
No need of new hardware, plug in 3-4 yr old hardware and the result will be the same when you are comparing it to 5-6yr old harware(consoles).

Beyond good and evil runs fine for most. Sometimes settings may need to be tweaked.
You dont need a PC with windows 98, most games run fine.
On console its also Companies decision not to allow you to play(and charge you for remakes), so you are p...
Funny the media wont say a dam thing about console gaming dieing since its actually on a decline year on year. While PC gaming which is seeing a growth is usually said to be dead lol.
PCSX2 is awesome, i tried running GOW 1 and GOW 2 on PC in 1080p runs great ;-) Anyone looking for PS2 BC should give it a try. Dual core overclocked between 3-3.5ghz should handle it fine.
Tombraider with mods = win.
Well one thing is for sure it needs to be casual friendly so if its going to be anything that remotely requires skill it wont be taking the sales crown from Cod.
why get a 400usd GPU when a 150usd gpu like GTX 460 runs everything in 1080 with 4x AA atleast.
Who says you need a 1500usd gaming rig? those figures are made up.
In todays terms its more like 600-700usd. Even if a new console did launch between 400-500usd it would be very close to the PC, while the console wont be able to do everything a PC can. Also cheaper games on PC ensure PC is much cheaper in the long run.
lol true.
Not count Steam is like, counting the digital sales of a console release and ignoring the reatail numbers.
