Wait, what? Blew it. Evey single game in the showcase is available on Gamepass. Also, every single 3rd party game will be better on the more powerful piece of hardware. Now don't get me wrong, I'm still buying a PS5 as well. But I believe Microsoft's consumer friendly approach is incredible. All of your games and games on Gamepass will be playable on the XSX, PC, and Xcloud supported devices.
I'm my eyes... That's a MASSIVE reason to be a part of that e...
Were you to old to go out? To drink and such? That sounds like an alternative to... Well everything else.
Considering Sony showed a bunch of cross platform games, I hope Microsoft doesn't do the same.
Red Dead 2 is still the top dawg
LMAO. How is being pro-consumer also mean not being confident? 🤣🤣🤣I am pretty sure that a trillion-dollar company is more confident than a billion dollar company
I agree. I'm not thrilled.
@gigzamillion.
Not true. I was able to do that with my PS3 games. I couldn't pop in a disc and it just automatically updated the graphics like my XBX did for me.
@rainslacker
No thanks. At least not at launch. My Pro is my Redbox console. So once the PS5 gets enough exclusive games in it's library, then I will buy one. But considering the Xbox series X has a pretty good power advantage, I'll buy that as my primary piece of hardware.
The SSD parts of the demo we're not "load free" it is much much faster... But if you look there is a splash screen in between world's/ levels. Those are used while the SSD loaded the data. Again, still impressive though. That's what SSD is all about. Can't wait to see what next gen brings us since everyone made the switch over to that format.
Sony does not have the smart delivery feature. You would know that if you just looked at the PS4 library of remastered games. They even remaster and charge you a second time for the first party games. They are not a trillion dollar company like Microsoft. They want every dollar they can get
Sony does not have the Smart Delivery feature. If they did, there wouldn't be soo many damn remasters on it. Hell, they were even remastering the first-party Sony exclusive games. They are not a trillion dollar company like Microsoft. They will collect the dollar any way possible
I'm not in to it as much as the first one. However, I'm only 6 hours in. The first one was sooo good and changed the way I viewed post apocalyptic times. They captured it so well that it set the bar for the second almost too high for it to compete with the first.
There's rumors that the XSX is going to be able to play the PC Gamepass Games and also include Steam access with the Smart Delivery feature. That would make the XSX library of games to be MASSIVE!!!
I'll gladly wait for CD Project Red games.
Especially since they are going to use the Xbox Smart Delivery for a free XSX upgrade.

What I don't understand about people is the desire or sheer lack of understanding the videogame community has. Acting like the game you're playing or what console you're playing on is "EXCLUSIVE" in anyway shape or form. Anyone that thinks they're "cool or elite" for owning an Xbox or PlayStation, is a flat out dumbass. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IS EXCLUSIVE FROM ALL OF US.
The design isn't completely terrible. But I would definitely prefer a black model. And the ability to turn the blue light off. I even turn the Samsung logo on all my TV's.
I'll buy a PS5. But the XSX is where 90% of my gaming time will be. Especially with Sony's approach to ditching the PS4 games I bought and making me buy them again, digitally, on the PS5.
Sony and Microsoft are both sneaky like that. It's a way to get fanboys excited. Real gaming enthusiast will own both consoles. I always buy both
With the information that was hacked from a shareholders meeting at Sony... The PS5 with the disc is showed at $699. Now I understand why they were worried about keeping costs low. That's a heavy tag to put on it. Especially with the XSX being more powerful. Well... We don't know the price of the XSX yet
The problem I've had with the PS over the years, is the lack of good first party games that offer more than just an interactive movie. I don't rewatch movies very often, unless they're bangers. Even then... They are only a 2hr experience. I have not played ANY single player game more than once. On any platform. Xbx , PS, or PC. So the Exclusives are not the selling point to me. I have and will always purchase both consoles... But 90% of the games I purchase this coming Generation ...
