While they are fun I never go back to them. So they are pretty much a one-and-done for me. I do play MLB the Show pretty often though
I have a lot of friends and colleagues that's still play multiplayer religiously. I'm pretty sure there are even tournaments that pay out using gears of War. I definitely don't think it's dead
That's my point. How can someone being excited for a game be a bad thing? We all have different tastes.
It's crazy how you get a dislike for stating that you enjoy a game. This website is something else
Same here. But to be honest, I wouldn't mind at all paying out-of-pocket for the service. It's absolutely incredible. Such a huge value
I agree. I can still find some temporary fun with SOT. Just because of the casual aspect of it. But that fun quickly sizzles out after about an hour. Maybe these new changes will change that
I'm not really one that gets involved with the drama that comes along with some of these releases like Star wars and Battlefield 5. If I find a game to be fun then I will give it my time. That being said, I've enjoyed Battlefield thus far. Battlefield 4 still my all-time favorite. Not sure why they changed that formula.
Not in the eyes of investors.
Sony: 2.1 billion in profit in 2018
Microsoft: 22.8 billion in profit in 2018
I'm glad Sony put the foot on Xbox's throat this get. Because now, next gen, we are all going to be in for some serious competition. Between the companies... hopefully not the gamer community. I'm tired of the console war crap. As a gamer, I always make it a point to have all the options.
Cheers....and Happy New year
I think with Phil Spencer as the lead at Xbox, there will never be another generation that the PlayStation will be more powerful than the Xbox. Microsoft wallet and resources are too large to make that mistake again.
God forbid Sony would add an element of replayability to some of their games. Don't get me wrong, I loved God of War and Horizon zero Dawn... But I sold them once I completed them.
Yeah, I only have 446 games downloaded on my X. 52 on my Pro
The art style in this game is incredible...but...it definitely looks like a videogame. No way you could mistake this for a movie. Unless you're on a 480p tube tv.
By a raise of hands, which one of you gamers are also investors? Because I could care less who sells more consoles. Owning all three I only care about what games I play.
@ShadowWolf What do you mean by "you guys"? I don't work for Microsoft. Nor am I brand loyal to ANYTHING. Not even smart phones. Obviously, I don't buy multiple phones....but I do own a XbX , Pro , and Switch.
Really? They are one of the largest companies in the world. With the buying power to consume the competition if desired. But thankfully, we as gamers have choices. Choices create competition. Competition creates innovation. We win no matter what.
I can't even begin to tell you how many movies or TV series I have tried and enjoyed on Netflix simply because they are available with my subscription. The same goes with Game Pass. They may not be AAA titles, but there have been many games that have surprised me and I would have never tried if I didn't have that subscription.
An interactive movie is your goty? To each his own. But man, I rented it
It was lackluster. But I must say, since the X launched, I've been playing all the cross platform games on it. Also the play anywhere feature is nice. Buy once and play on my PC or my 75" OLED. Very cool
How do you have down votes? Was this not just given an award for the "sports/racing" game of the year?
Why would you say people are ready to get out of this gen? There are so many good games out and in the pipeline. Owning all home consoles, I can confidently say that each have their own appeal. With Xbox having a generation full of restructuring and damage control, I feel that they have made the necessary changes to help them come out of the gate firing on all cylinders. Which is exciting to me as a gamer. Sony had a rough start with the PS3... And look what that gave us. PS4. Competition bre...
