Yup. When will some people learn? Uyu
Those are hard facts you posted there. Microsoft is definitely taking the
It ends with them showing games that aren't interactive movie type one and done games. I'm not dissing Sony's approach to it's exclusives. It works for for me. That's what I bought a Pro for. But I like variety. I guess that's why I purchase both consoles. Best of both worlds.
So you like the Xbox Controller as well? This very similar
YESSS!!! Right before Microsoft announces the acquisition of Crytech. Putting the light back on Crytech before an announcement is a smart move.
I hope this song and dance doesn't continue all next gen on account of the series X being 40% more powerful. Just play it on the console you enjoy and have fun. Or... Do as I do and purchase both consoles. Play the exclusives on the respective hardware to the game. And multi-platform games on the more powerful hardware. Easy.
Everything Sony has done thus far has been underwhelming. I can not wait to see something revolutionary from their camp!!! Tic tock. Let's do it!!!
Well... They are both guilty. Sony took the overall shape. Microsoft took the idea of a dedicated share button.
It has some major similarities with the Xbox controller. Which was unanimously voted as the best controller in gaming. So it's not a surprise that they took notes from that controlling. Same as Microsoft taking notes with the share button.
Microsoft, HP, and Valve are currently working on a VR headset. So if they decide to get into the market... They would have Valve in their corner. Game over for my cheap PSVR plastic of a headset I own.
They once again have the best hardware and services in the business. How are they "following"?
Don't say exclusives... They just spent more money on developers than Sony has in the bank. The games are in the pipeline.
Most affordable console and the most powerful console next gen. Plus the new studios, services, and server farms to make that plan a reality. Sony would have to invest billions on billions just to purchase the server infrastructure that Microsoft has. Unless Sony only plans to continue the business model that they had last year. But that's now how businesses grow. We'll see.
I agree. It's not very "next gen" in the looks department. But digital foundry went into full detail about the PS5's GPU and it's ability to different types of Ray tracing. So if they're trying to do FULL Ray tracing, then I'm sure the graphics have to take a hit to keep the performance up. Which... That's what everyone in the PS camp has been asking for. Performance over visuals. It appears Mark Cerny listened.
And they seem to be the ones back-stepping this time around. I can message people on my Xbox X with those on 360. I wonder why this would be an issue for Sony?
It's all in Microsofts ecosystem. You're gonna have to get used to this new fact. Sony is also going to be selling games on PC. Why do you think Sony asked Microsoft to partner with them for the Azure server. The old way of doing things is a way of the past. These corporations want to make more money and scale.
I guess it might be for some. But for a 5-8 yr investment... I'm okay paying more this coming gen. I buy a Smartphone every year, and those run me about $1k. So it makes sense to me. Especially since they are my favorite form of entertainment.
That is correct, IRetrouk. I always buy them both. So this coming Generation will be equally as great. I anticipate it being much much better.
@brandloyaltyisabadchoice
Sony can load a game in 5 seconds vs 7. Plus Ms can do auto resume on 4-5 games. We'll see which one pays off.
@purple101
Did you not see digital foundries video on the Series X and it's SSD? It's plenty fast and can instantly run multiple games at press of a button. If the SSD is all Sony has to brag about with the new hardware... It better be $299
Google Microsofts market value. That should answer your questions. Cheers bud
