To each their own! I personally would really like to play it. I like games with a lot of narrative to them. It just happens that the last chapter of The Wolf Among Us comes out this week too, so I'm rather pumped for some story driven content. :D
For kicks, I went to the main Kickstarter page to check whether or not they actually had any extra money after the last stretch goal. Turns out they did not. In fact the Kickstarter donations was just under the last revealed stretch goal and only after Paypal donations were initiated did they meet it. So as far as we know, they really did not have a lot of extra money after what was offered. I still don't see it as a money grab but more like an offer for extra features.
I would certainly hope so! Especially for PS4.
Interesting isn't it? Generally people use games to escape reality, but realistic elements like these can make a game more relatable and as a result more enjoyable too.

Thought provoking media often leaves the biggest positive impact. I'm all the more interested in this game now. :)
If you have the option to change something you don't like to better suit your needs, why even complain about it? :/
Like LOGICWINS said, they're probably phasing that out since Borderlands 2 got a mixed reception from the press and didn't really move Vita units.
To be honest guys, I think they're just phasing out the current stock in favor of new bundles. Or they actually are keeping stocks low on purpose. I honestly could not say for sure.
I would go look at the original stretch goals for that answer. It was never planned, probably because they did not anticipate the fan desire for voice acting at all. Voice acting as one of the original stretch goals and then being used as an incentive for more donations would definitely warrant a lot more outrage. But it simply wasn't in the pipeline at the time. It's hard for me to fault them simply for offering more stuff that wasn't offered before if more stretch goals are met....
You're in for a real treat IMO. It's a great stealth/survival game and has a magnificently told story to boot. On top of that you're going to get he story DLC that released after the original came out. :D
I think people disagreed because the game is hitting last generation consoles so from a technical standpoint there isn't much reason to say no to a Wii U version. If storage space is an issue then fans do have the option of an external HDD on Wii U. I already had one ready for mine when I got it. :)

That's because indies are not constrained by fixed budgets, shareholders and money grubbing publishers. They work on their own schedule, whatever budget they can work with and whatever game type they want. It goes to show how you can do a lot with a little.
Don't forget their greed. A lot of this has to do just as much with greed.
This author is extremely bitter, that much is for sure. I'm still not understanding what people are so upset about. You don't have to donate if you don't want those extra features. They're not asking for more to get the game made with the original stretch goals. This is pretty much them adding more stretch goals to provide incentive for an option to donate further if you so wish. Shantae did it and so did A Hat in Time. Why is this one so vile and greedy and evil in comparison...
I'd like that a lot actually. Maybe they don't have to put in Robot Chicken shorts, but a prerecorded show is not a bad approach. And I definitely would like Sony to have an advertised and hosted stream of all their playable demos like the Nintendo Treehouse event.
Ah dang, well that's alright! They've been given a ton of limelight thanks to E3. Their slot can be filled by a game more in need of the exposure.
I had the same feeling about that. Wonder if the story branches at all like in Telltale's The Walking Dead.
