One of the reason I got a Wii U is it has a number of games with asymmetric multiplayer with its games. How would you approach such multiplayer for a game like this one?
That's awesome! what are some of those ideas, if you would mind revealing them?
Oh pish posh, you liked it. ;P
That is a lot of speculation.
I got fingers crossed on both hands. PLEASE be true. :D
That's absolutely terrible. I'm really glad these guys are able to self-publish nowadays. They remind me a lot of Double Fine and how there are examples of publishers and the system in general unfairly screwing smaller developer teams out of their own success.
What we need is for more indie games to get the kind of success and exposure a lot of AAA games get. If that happens more often, AAA developers will be pushed to be more creative.
I agree... "directly"... with you. :P
I have to agree. This is a very disappointing decision. Wish they would at least tell us specifically why.
Wow, a Twitter bot to follow streams huh? That's a pretty nifty way to help the community discover new playthroughs of the game.
Heck yeah! Almost can't believe this is an indie game. Loving the newer and more detailed look!
Hot dang... d'ose new models d'oe! :D
Oh crap, I remember hearing about this or a game just like it eons ago. Nice to see it get some exposure!
Some AAAs out there have it as well, but I agree that indies are full to the brim with freedom of creativity.
Seems like the whole point of the game is to get the player to make morally ambiguous choices. :P
Agreed completely. Many games take a far more black and white approach to their choice system. Mass Effect is pretty famous for that. This game is kind of going for a more realistic approach, which strangely blends well with its chibi art style IMO.
Quite a lot of detail. Makes you wonder just how many branching choice paths there are.
This is closer to 16 bit or 32 bit, wouldn't you say? :P
@Emilio and Cat
Having played some of Telltale's newer story games, I often felt like I was pressured into making very difficult decisions within time limits of ten seconds or less. Did you guys ever try out Walking Dead or The Wolf Among Us? Are there any games you feel fit the "gray choice" criteria?
Not a bad idea. After I get my PS4, I should probably invest in some computer parts.
