Kind of makes me sad. Nintendo let this onto the eShop but not The Binding of Isaac. :(
@Otaku Vita is a good platform for indies. And it's more exposure for the game! If they want to make a Vita version, let 'em. I definitely want to get this on Wii U and 3DS if the cross-buy rumors are true. :)
Huh, nice deals! I might just go for that Pro Controller deal... decisions, decisions.
@SilentNegotiator
1. You need to prove that before you try to use it in a debate and you have no solid figures. If anything all of the proof suggests exactly the opposite of PC support being "100x higher" than Wii U in the poll they made for feedback.
2. Based on public response, the Wii U version is most likely going to sell less than before. Mission accomplished?
3. Wii U owners have every right to feel entitled. They backed and s...
...This is the silliest thing I've ever read. Tripping in Brawl was literally the worst mechanic in a game about fighting. Like, ever.
Here's how I see it from a business standpoint. Wii U has no racing sims with which to compete. This game was making a name for itself as being a game with a very good port on Wii U. Wii U owners also had great interest in the game and therefor helped fund its development. Logic stands that it would at least be a moderate success on Wii U. Now by delaying the game, they have angered those fans and now they want nothing to do with the game on. On the other systems, they are now competing w...
The pit crew actually looks really good, but the characters with faces have some very ugly uncanny valley going on. Good thing the focus is on driving in this game.
That's a logical fallacy.
Blue shell is pretty rare in MK8 and the Super Horn is pretty dangerous to other players as is. I don't see much need to complain about it.
Ever play with friends while recording game footage and audio? The results are quite funny. :D
Well that's not true. A number of review outlets agreed that the best versions of Deus Ex Human Revolutions and Shovel Knight were on Wii U. I can't compare myself, but some third party games were actually well received on the system.
@SilentNegotiator If the audience that funded your game is most interested in a Wii U version, it stands to reason that the Wii U version should get some priority in development. They have also been working on that version since the beginning and before the PS4 and Xbox One versions were made. It's a lot like Rayman Legends and how its main audience was on Wii U. It sold like crap but sold most on the Wii U even though they angered a lot of fans with the game's delay. I think the same...
Devil May Cry 3 and 4 at least had characters that were likable. The characters in DmC were just complete A-holes. It was like their idea of cool was taking a baby's candy and then smacking them in the face with it. Not my cup of tea and I hope this news is false.
I already made a Rocky Balboa Mii for this. I want to pit him against Little Mac. :)
Consumer interest was in the Wii U version though. This reminds me quite a lot about the reaction to Rayman Legends getting delayed.
Forgiven because it was a great comment nonetheless. Bubble up.
That's really saddening to hear, if only because I've become more and more invigorated in the world of this industry. And yet I can't even blame you. Gaming is becoming more and more business-centric. And I know these companies need to make money, but they can do that and still have integrity. They can do their work without burning bridges with fans of their work. I'm sorry that you're thinking of avoiding future consoles. Either way, I hope you keep gaming and have fun. A...
Playing is my preference, of course. But watching is free entertainment. Achievement Hunter is pretty good IMO.
Project Cars is competing with Forza and Gran Turismo. It could make money competing with those games, but I doubt it.
Sorry, I meant when Ubisoft delayed Rayman Legends. Silly me. :[
