Not a bad way of looking at it lol. The shooting mechanics keep making me think of Quake though.
Don't hide it from her! Show it to her! Don't let her judge a game by its name. :P
But look at the original stretch goals. The last stretch goal was right around the $4 million mark. So they don't have much, if any additional funding for any of these other features. And besides, I recently found out that this headline is misleading. This isn't a second campaign, they merely opened up a paypal donation service like what WayForward and Gears For Breakfast did after their Kickstarter campaigns ended.
That and indie detractors. :P
Not with this game anyway. Maybe Bayonetta 3 but I doubt Bayonetta 3's initial release will ever go multiplat. Not that I'm complaining since I finally gots my Wii U. :P Definitely getting Bayonetta ASAP.
Quite a list! I believe Resident Evil The Mercenaries and Mario Tennis are also online on 3DS. :)
I think PC has technically been doing HD long before any of the consoles have, which is fine. Nintendo was the latest to the party, but hopefully they will better themselves and be more prepared with the next console.
Love that they are constantly expanding the game. :) Looks like a heck of a time!
Fingers crossed! Good luck to everyone. :)
edit: Whoa, I'm seeing italics on my comment. Anyone else seeing this? o.o
Getting serious Quake flashbacks from this game, and that's good! I like how it not only blends a colorful artstyle with such crazy gameplay, but also seems to take a lot of inspiration from classic PC shooters from back in the day. Very exciting to see come to fruition and I hope to see more!
Dang, this crazy gameplay makes me think Quake meets Godzilla. Glad to see an original indie FPS on the scene! :D
Not too surprising as handhelds are the in thing in Japan right now! PS4 will definitely go up as well when more Japanese-centric games come out. :)
Far cry from last year, and I like it! This will hopefully bring Nintendo to a closer understanding of the fighting game community. :)
Day one buy for me! Two discs for the price of one is pretty awesome. :)
Isn't this kinda like the 3DS? I don't remember seeing any online multiplayer games until Mario Kart came out. Now a bunch of games you wouldn't even expect to have multiplayer are online. XD
^Yup. I'd like to see more 3D platformers as well. It seems like Nintendo is the only company that makes more than one of them these days. :/
Yeah, tell me about it. Gotta give this team a lot of credit for doing what they could with what they had to work with.
Ever play Brutal Legend? XD
"Making Ofs" are always intriguing IMO. Especially when the creators themselves are the ones doing the presentation.
Why can I imagine Bobby Kotick doing this to the guys who made Titanfall? XD
