Hackers are everywhere online but they are generally unavoidable and their antics can get patched especially on consoles.
That's really cynical thinking. Aonuma sought inspiration from the original Legend of Zelda on his own accord, not to appease fanboys. Why don't you give the game a chance before writing it off?
Agreed, that is unbelievable especially considering the amount of time most games take to develop.
Interesting stuff. I don't usually play these kinds of games, but I'm willing to check it out.
Me neither... you have to be exceptionally good at your craft and good at accepting criticism in order to really make it in gaming. Congrats to the devs for sure.
Humility certainly goes a long way. Good for this dev! :)
The list isn't big, but there are multiple games that run better on Wii U than on last gen. That's a good enough reason for me to believe it is a truly stronger machine.
Same reason here! My backlog has gotten pretty big, especially since I won a few Steam codes thanks to Indie Month. :P
Played the 360 game a few years back... it's so daunting how different the true Shadowrun experience is meant to be.
I'm glad for this game's KS success. It reinvigorates the fact that there are plenty of good campaigns versus the series of bad eggs.
So interesting to see the original gameplay of Shadowrun make a comeback.
I feel like I should go play the first one now haha.
The original with that song... good stuff. :D
Funny stuff to say the least. XD
Funny how a PS4 announcement can get you so interested in a game like this lol.
Great point. I was thinking about that as well. Why would Nintendo end the Wii U's lifecycle now when it only just started doing significantly better?
That's not a great argument if the PS4, PC and Wii U versions are doing things that the PS3 version cannot. The evidence is out there now because the developer said the PS3 cannot do some things they wanted for this game.
I loved the PS3 and I'm not bothered by this. I already knew the Wii U was at least a little better than the PS3 in terms of specs. This has been established for a while now, so I can't understand why people are upset. PS4 is still the strongest console this gen but Wii U can still have awesome looking games. You would think we could just be happy about that.
^Give this guy a bubble for intelligence. The Wii U is newer hardware and while it's not as strong as PS4, it's clearly more powerful than PS3 and this developer proved that. Newer hardware is often better, so I'm not upset by the comparison at all. PS3 was a great console for its time and IMO the best of its generation, but that generation is over and we have to understand that newer consoles will generally be stronger, even than the allegedly weak Nintendo console.
"It's an opinion piece"
So? People can disagree with an opinion. Why do you get so upset when people disagree with negative opinions of Nintendo? As Theyellowflash30 said it's not even a very well thought out opinion piece so people are likely to disagree.
