Well the Muppets certainly caught my attention. :P
I like that this dev wants to branch out when this game is concluded. Cool stuff and great interview. :D
The art style is beautifully trippy. :D
"Myriad is a stark naked action game where you make and break worlds. Your choices and actions bend time and are translated into space, as well as an exponential number of new threats."
Sounds rather ambitious. o.o
Good luck to all!
Man must be confident. XD
The visual fidelity is a lot higher than most CoD games and it even has motion blur and some anti-aliasing from the looks of it. If this really is an upgraded version of the IW engine, I have to say that I am impressed. Until we get a confirmation on that though, I don't want to say it's the same engine because IMO it doesn't look the same at all.
Don't fret! Both versions are online! :D
I'm not sure what you mean Foxtrot. I've always wanted an on-the-go Smash game. I would have gotten a Vita for PSASBR on-the-go but I already had it on PS3. Smash will have its own content and modes and the only technical limitation we actually know of is the character transformations being removed. As far as we know there are no other issues. The Wii U version will gave Gamecube controller support so I'm sure people will look to that one as the optimal version no matter what thou...
Hush you. Sony innovates in different ways from Nintendo.
I googled Nintendo's previous losses and you are right! Their biggest loss was around half a billion dollars. This is less than a fifth of that. The loss before it was around a quart of a million. So it looks the loss records are getting smaller and smaller. Not completely terrible all things considered.
@Concertoine I'm not sure I get it either. DonDon and a couple of others said they wanted Nintendo stock to go back to the Yamauchi family without much regard for whether or not any of them know anything about gaming. If Iwata was to give his position to someone else I would want it to be someone like him who is close to game development like Sakurai or someone like him. Yamuchi's era with Nintendo ended on a low point for the company and Iwata gave the company a lot of success with W...
That's pretty much how I looked at it too. Can't say why some people can't seem to distinguish between them.
How dare Sony put sales prices on games that don't interest me? Don't they know the world revolves around me me me? >:(
Japanese-centric games will help but the current trend in Japan is handhelds right now. Wii U should follow the PS4's lead and have more western push. Handhelds do better in Japan while consoles do better in the west, especially PS4.
Wind Waker HD should be in that picture because I recall them saying the new Zelda was using WWHD's assets.
What if Iwata's replacement just bends to shareholders and makes Nintendo a mobile company? You need a more thoughtful approach than that IMO.
Why would anyone disagree with this? PS3 sold a lot of consoles but it was also sold at a really big loss so Sony lost a lot of money in the process. PS4 is sold somewhere close to the line between profit and loss so Sony is actually making a lot of money off of their software. You can definitely sell your product and still lose money and vice versa.
Not to mention Smash Bros. controller bundles. That will be pretty helpful. :P
Wish them a lot of luck with their games. :)
