Glad this got a showcase. I saw it everywhere but never really gave it a real glance. Now I think I should. :)
Nintendo has had it tougher here for a while, but they have gotten a lot of praise since E3. Doom articles like these seem to be a trend on N4G and lately I see them hitting all the major players and not just Nintendo but they're all pretty lousy. Too much negativity in general IMO.
Don't quote me but what I was told was that games are tied to accounts and accounts are locked to the system unless you call Nintendo and request a transfer. As long as you have the email associated with your NNID you should be fine. Either way you should probably call Nintendo.
Nintendo is pretty stubborn with that kind of stuff. They should not be so stingy with friend games though.
As long as it is fairly priced and truly expands the game in some way, I'm okay with that.
If I could play Doom when I wait for a transaction to process I would visit my local ATM more often.
In my personal case it's not much of an issue because I am going multiconsole. Wii U does not have a wide appeal so enticing those 360/PS3 gamers probably won't be enough unless they have an interest in Nintendo games. My reason for getting a Wii U last month is I'm going to get my Bayonetta sequel with my Smash and Mario Kart for fairly cheap. Some gamers are okay with that and I don't see what's stupid about being okay with something that satisfies you. I agree that ther...
Whenever I play Team Fortress 2, I feel a lot less invested if I jump into a server and most of the enemies are bots. I like playing against real opponents because it feels more fulfilling. If I don't know any better then I would probably remain blissfully ignorant.
To be honest it's not okay for Wii U to not have more games but there is only so much Nintendo can do. Third party partnerships and indies are their best bet because the larger publishers are focused on the new consoles and are not even considering Wii U. I don't agree with the idea of attacking Nintendo fans that are satisfied with Nintendo, even if we disagree with them. Wii U could have been better but the hardware was finalized years ago and Nintendo is definitely learning a lesso...
That's not entirely true. There are some solid Wii U ports that haven't sold very well. I think there was a lack of a marketing push on the publishers' parts, so I think the blame doesn't belong to any one entity. It's hard to look at Wii U and say it needs third party support because I honestly don't think those games would see a lot of support anyway.
Naughty Dog is one of the greatest developers in the industry and they made the first game the masterpiece it is. I agree with Mr. Baker. :)
So basically it's a shooter that forces you to take cover and strategist, huh? Well at the very least it's a little bit more realistic than most.
Consoles would probably help this game a lot. I feel like this game could do well in that market.
Must be a ton of fun. Although I wonder how different it must be for a developer to play his own game. The creator tends to interpret things differently from the audience.
They were selling all the versions for less than $20 a month ago. Why didn't you pick it up then?
They have lots of fan favorites it looks like. I wouldn't mind a balance of favorite and original characters. Lana is really cute and maybe a few more original character can help tie the story together.
Not sure. They got Panettiere in the 3DS game, I think so they might get her for KHIII.
Awesome! It'd be weird to hear someone else in the role IMO. Now they just need to confirm Hayden Panettiere and David Gallagher if they haven't already.
There are seven million games in the Wii U library?! O_O Where the heck have I been?!
Sequel already? Great news! Now I just gotta play the first one...
