Wouldn't it be smarter to support it to further encourage Nintendo to allow more games like it?
That... actually doesn't look that bad. Looks like Platinum's working their magic again.
At least for Mega Man and Phoenix Wright. I would be at least a little concerned for the more mature IPs until I saw what Nintendo did with them.
Just the first game I think. They said they would consider remakes for Abe's Exoddus and Munch's Oddysee if this game is successful.
I completely agree with you. I haven't bought a CoD game since Modern Warfare 2 and I've only been renting them since then but their sales numbers keep going up. Even with dwindling quality and a lot of internet scorn it remains a big contender in software sales so I question whether we should say it needs saving.
Well I'll be darned. I didn't think about Operation Rainfall. I really shouldn't comment when I'm sleepy lol. But that's a fair point as fan reaction for the Wii RPGs was pretty loud especially for Xenoblade. I think fan petitioning will be one of the few ways we will see Wii U get more third party games like Destiny and Minecraft if those games ever come. Internet demand is now stronger than ever, just look at the big changes for Xbox One.
Unless your team is massive, I don't see why you would not finish the early access game and THEN move on to the next project.
I've only played a few Zelda games, but I keep hearing how the later ones have much more read-along dialogue than the earlier games. Sounds like narrative is already a focus for new Zelda games.
I might just do that myself once I get my PS4. I could start saving up for individual computer parts for a better gaming PC.
Probably not. I've never heard of an online petition that succeeded in its goal.
Does Call of Duty even need saving? It's one of the top selling franchises in the world.
Technically according to Metacritic the highest rated game is still Super Mario Galaxy. But I get what you mean since The Last of Us is arguably still one of the most talked about games of the previous and soon current generation.
edit: Also PS4's strength comes with being a developer and consumer friendly console. It's easy for developers to work with, especially indies and it's not terribly expensive for the consumer. It's pretty much a win-win all around.
It would make sense to compare racing simulators to other racing simulators to see which games do what best. Comparisons like that are part of the competition and can sometimes even help games gain bigger followings and more traction. This indie game getting compared to Gran Turismo can only be a good thing. :P
Ah yes, another gem from the past. So glad this series is making a comeback. I really hope people support this version so we can get remakes of the other Oddysee games like Stranger's Wrath did.
Not a bad blog so far wonderfulmonkeyman, but I feel like you can take it a few steps further. For starters, don't just mention what exactly was missing or wrong with the Wii U ports. You should expand on them and compare them to the other ports and talk specifically about what makes them worse and less valuable by comparison. Talk about these ports for people who only own Wii Us and what they mean for people with multiple consoles. I would also like to see you talk about what ports for ...
Agreed. Ouya was a pretty sweet idea, but unfortunately it was nothing special by the time it came out. I feel like it should be a game development unit as oppose to a game console. Something with a lot of built in engines and tools for new indie developers to work with so as to give people more incentive to buy it and use it for purposes other than playing games already available on tablets and PCs.
Plus Zelda U isn't even close to release. Shouldn't we make judgments like that after it comes out?
The similarities to Terraria were my only concern. I think I'll definitely give this a fair shot now.
Well it does have "dig" in the name. :P
I liked the connectivity between players and how it was an experience about togetherness. I found the plot intriguing because of the mystery surrounding both the Traveler and the Fallen and I would like to see where it goes. Customization was in need of some fleshing out but I've heard it is supposed to be deeper in the full game. The speeders are fun to drive and having my friends as my teammates and occasionally helping other squads was a lot of fun. We spent our time issuing commands a...
