Actually yeah on my friend's Wii. :P That was the first time I played Smash 64. It was unbalanced as heck but it was fun! Melee was better though IMO.
My thoughts exactly. It was kind of random to see a trophy from Ubisoft in the game without a playable representative for Ubisoft. He's probably in the game but I would still like to hear it from Sakurai or Nintendo. :)
I want these. Just not two of each. -.-
I don't see what was so out of line with other Disney films. It's light-hearted and campy, it's a musical and it's a very colorful movie with fun characters quite a lot like the Disney renaissance movies and even some of the ones that came in between. Maybe it is a little too popular for its own good, but I judged the movie on its own merits before the huge media buzz for it and I loved the heck out of it. Like with Wreck-It Ralph I'm hoping they do a sequel.
Nintendo SPD is a developer on the game so it's a joint operation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
There's a chance Nintendo could have influenced the choice to omit online since it's their IP and it's a joint developed game. Nintendo SPD is listed as a developer on the title. So it's a fair criticism for Nintendo as well as Tecmo Koei.
At least it's free. You could always just sell the code if you had all of the games they offered.
I disagree. I loved Frozen! I hope they make Elsa the swappable character for that world. Her ice powers would be pretty awesome and they could even give her and Sora an ice themed team attack like the ones in Kingdom Hearts II. IMO Frozen was just as good as some of the renaissance movies. I have a hard time choosing between it and Wreck-It Ralph sometimes. As for the leading male, Kristoff was a pretty goofy guy and there's even a song that points out how he's a flawed character.
This game will be tough to get used to since it will be the first one I've played without a gamecube controller, but I appreciate being able to have a portable Smash game.
Does this author even know you need the gamepad for Nintendo Land and ZombiU and supposedly a few of the Nintendo games coming out next year? I feel like selling without the gamepad will create even more Wii and Wii U brand confusion because then you can't even separate them with the different controllers.
I think the figures are limited only to games they are in. Which means Samus will probably only be in Metroid games and Smash. Which also means if you want the Samus Amiibo functionality and the Smash functionality, you have to get two different Samus figurines. *Sigh* Dang it. I'll only get one for Smash. Two of each figurine is too much money to spend IMO.
So if I put Mario into Smash then use him in Mario Kart I lose the Smash data? That basically forces you to buy more than one if you want to use them in multiple games. It's not necessarily a deal breaker for me since I like the figures, but it is disappointing nonetheless. As long as I can take my Smash Mario into my friends' Smash games then that is what is most important IMO.
Huh, well that's surprising. Never thought we would get more than three third party characters. I think we should wait for an official reveal trailer, but it's cool if this is true.
I have to agree with deafdani. This news is very disappointing. Tecmo Koei has done online Warriors games before, so this game should have online co-op as well. If it's true that it does have some online mode then that's awesome but it's disappointing that the co-op mode couldn't at least have the option.
It's just as valid to like big releases as it is to enjoy indie or even casual games. People who get upset about things like that are just being immature. Let's let people like what they want.
@DonDon Nobody is saying anything like that. wonderfulmonkeyman even conceded to what deafdani was saying. Do you really hate Nintendo so much that you have to lie about what the fans are saying? A lot of Nintendo fans are disappointed by this.
...What the heck Microsoft?
Thank you for participating in Indie Month and making the last day a great one. :D
Gotta agree. I think C has the most to say.
There are some uses for it. I'm a fan of Disney Infinity and you can level up your character and then move them into a friend's game even if the game console is different from yours. It has some nice perks. Big difference is Disney Infinity toys will work in 2.0 and Skylanders toys are forward compatible to the newer games. It's a little disappointing to see the Nintendo ones be so limited.
