Probably because it did not sell the most hardware among the three. Doesn't matter to me though, it still had the best library of games IMO.
I think mostly Zelda fans want this as oppose to everyone, but I'm getting it since my friend and I want to do co-op... too bad we HAVE to be in the same house to do it though. :/

You are absolutely right about that. Though I don't know if third party support is a huge strength for Microsoft when almost all of it is on PS4 and a lot of the time with better performance. Microsoft fans will gladly enjoy them for sure but the rest of the market I can see leaning toward PS4 and possibly Wii U as a secondary console.
$100 a month for subscription cloud gaming? You guys are crazy. OnLive does cloud gaming and they do $8 a month, just like Netflix and Hulu. Sony can do something similar and still make it profitable. https://games.onlive.com/ga...
Still play mine quite a lot. I'm sure I'll still turn it on from time to time even after I have my PS4 and that's mostly because it still has some games coming out that I want.
After googling his profile it turns out he has quite a lot of credits in Nintendo games even before becoming president. Maybe he should be a game design consultant or something like that? I think he has better ideas for software than hardware.
Well said Concertoine. I personally don't dislike Iwata but he can't be president forever and I'd rather not see a president who will turn Nintendo into a mobile company. I would like to see a president who will embrace the internet more though.
I like to keep a positive head, but saying Wii U will outsell PS4 is quite a stretch. I am confident that doing these things will make it outsell Xbox One though. I think this generation will go Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft for consoles sold.

BigDuo's hitting the nail on the head. Wii U has a marketing issue and up until now a bit of a game library issue. It's on the right track but at this point Nintendo just needs to make the system appealing with games. Stronger hardware might have actually made their money situation worse since better hardware costs more.
My top one would be Destiny and my second one is probably Smash Bros. 4. :)

This sounds exactly like what it should be. All access subscription would be so much better than individual rentals. I hope Sony considers the idea and discounts PS+ subscribers.
Lots of Zelda fans seem interested so the brand is having some influence. I've only just gotten into Zelda myself so I think it will be a great way to get introduced to some of the previous game characters and play my first Warriors game in years. Like I said I think you need to be into Zelda to really want this game and it seems like you're not all that interested in Wii U. :P
