Miyamoto is one of the most well known minds and has created some of the most well respected franchises in gaming. There is a really good chance that both our favorite video games exist because of him so some arrogance is deserved on his part. I don't agree with his opinion at all but I definitely respect it. In fact if I could I would sit down and discuss the topic with him, not fling insults. If he thinks that other games are boring... so what? That's his right to that opinion. The ...

Having an opinion is arrogant? Well then I guess you're the most arrogant one here Foxtrot. ;)

Because Assassin's Creed has had far more games than Star Fox in far fewer years. That kind of comparison is really bad.

Was I that Sony Pony?! o.o Seriously though when you have a full party Nintendo Land can be quite fun! :)

The word gimmick gets thrown around way too much these days. Its meaning is rather lost in translation. :/

I wouldn't mind it as much if 60fps was an industry standard. Higher framerate actually makes the game play smoother so I feel that that is more important than higher resolution.

I saw some hires pics of the final models for the Amiibo and they actually look a lot better than the screens Kotaku provided. Not as good as the prototypes but a lot better than the Kotaku pics nonetheless. The supports are still a little ugly but the characters look good IMO.

@cgoodno The Wii U has a lot of content to choose from and it has plenty more coming. If people play those games and enjoy them then its money wisely spent because it's all subjective. :p

Actually the licenses go to your account which is stuck to the hardware. You can transfer the account to another system by calling Nintendo if you are a resident in any of the three major regions. It's dumb and archaic but I don't agree that it is anti-consumer.

$80 to cover the two collections consisting of four games and two movies total and $20 to cover the merchandise. Seems fair to me!

The only time I saw screen tearing was when my friend showed me Darksiders II on the gamepad. It was icky to say the least.

The Japanese sales for Bayonetta and Hyrule Warriors were worse than NA from what I read so maybe Nintendo will consider stronger Wii U support in the west?

@mikeslemonade Subjective statement painted as objective fact. Nice try.

I'm not sure if I read the same text as some of the other guys here. It sounds like they are considering removing region locks in future based on this statement. "As for what should be done going forward, if unlocked for the benefit of the customers, there may also be a benefit for us. Conversely, unlocking would require various problems to be solved, so while I can’t say today whether or not we intend to unlock, we realize that it is one thing that we must consider looking to the fu...

Warriors had day one DLC which I think is more of a Tecmo Koei thing since they do that sort of thing a lot with the Warriors series. The other games he listed I don't think actually have any on disc DLC or day one DLC for that matter.

@-Foxtrot This has to be the most tactless thing you've said yet.

@RosweeSon Who really cares what the competition is offering? I don't own a 360 or XB1 so I would not really care what their free offerings are. Shouldn't it be more sensible to voice demand for higher quality offerings from Sony? PSP games for Vita doesn't seem like a bad idea. Why not some PS1 Classics too? Saying all of this does not make me unappreciative, a hater or a troll. I'm just exhibiting some subjective views because I'm not too interested in this month's f...

Gaming will mature out of that sooner or later. There was a time where all video games "caused violence." RE5 was racist. Halo was a murder simulator. That kind of stuff didn't change the industry and I don't believe this will either.
