I thought Wii U could support Unreal 4? :U
Particularly for consoles. I'd be more concerned if this number was for 3DS or Vita.

Yeah it was pretty lackluster this year unfortunately. Hopefully we'll both get lucky and find some decent deals before the year is over.
I looked around a lot for deals on Wii U. I was saving up for one for a friend, but the only deals I spotted were gone within minutes. There was a $260 bundle on eBay and they only had like 5000 so I honestly think that it has just as much to do with how few deals there were. :v
Nintendo games do often over a lot of genres though. :U
It's hard to describe both. Sonic Boom is bad because it's really buggy and unfinished. Superman is just bland and poorly designed. They are both really bad for different reasons.
Why should Link talk? Silent protagonists aren't all that bad. I would prefer the other characters to have voice actors but that's just me. Link can stay mute though since I think it creates a good storytelling dynamic.
To be honest, I think there are too many things to be thankful for. I have wonderful friends who are so good to me and supportive in my time of need, I'm still alive and breathing and able to type this comment to the folks here on N4G and I'm thankful for all the things we have but continue to take for granted.
People keep making shortsighted arguments about why third party doesn't work on Wii U when in reality this is just really poor marketing on Ubisoft's part. A third party game can do very well if marketed the right way and it's happened before but this game came out in the same time frame as Smash Bros. of all things. Regardless of any other reason holding it back that factor alone doomed the game's release.
The same article also says that those sales are likely the result of unknowing parents and grandparents. Gamers likely avoided Sonic Boom for the most part.
I don't see why Nintendo has to market Ubisoft's game and give it a decent release date. That's Ubisoft's job. Sony does not do Activision's marketing with CoD or Ubisoft's job with AC:U. :/

Honestly it's just PR to try and grab other potential buyers similarly to any PR statement Reggie has made. I would not take it too seriously to be honest. PR is often gobbledygook so I let the games speak for themselves. :)

All Wii Us also come bundled with a game or two which adds to the deal IMO. I had to get a game with my PS4, not that I'm complaining since I feel it was well worth the value. :v
