I'm pretty sure Wii U is selling at a profit and Nintendo's last quarter was a net profit. Even with low sales Nintendo is making money. :U

Smash also won best fighting game.

Lots of people young and old like toys. There's your reason. xD

Well they did say 2015. Maybe just in time for the holidays like Smash? :U

That tired marketing argument again? That sort of comment is about as repetitive as the CoD series lol. Nintendo has not supported the casual market for over a year or two now with Wii U. Heck, Miyamoto referred to the way casual gamers migrate from one market to the next as "pathetic." Lately Nintendo seems to just be marketing to their fans.

I think it's safe to say Wii U will be remembered much more fondly than Wii since it actually has normal controls by default. :v

I'm gonna have to go with Uncharted. That series just has so much polish and charm IMO. But even with my preference I know that both of these games are gonna be great so frankly I think they will BOTH rule. ;)

The article is talking about Nintendo games that have been on the market long after launch still having high prices. But I don't get why this author waited to write this when Captain Toad just came out at $40...

Train them to be a fighting companion in Smash. They happen to do things in other games but it's nothing huge I think.

They just showed off Mario Maker and the new Zelda at the game awards. They are marketing lots of games and the only one with a lot of Amiibo support is Smash. ._.

I agree about New 3DS' name but can we say for sure if it is actually problematic from a sales standpoint? I heard it's doing pretty well in Japan. :v

You see Amazon's marketplace? It's already up there.

I think there is some irony since a lot of people say Nintendo changes so little. Skyward Sword was one of the most unique games I ever played, next to ICO and The Binding of Isaac.

^This. It was established early on that porting should be easier because the systems are built around similar architecture to PCs.

You totally lied about NeoGAF. I just checked over there and for the most part their community seems really excited for Zelda U. One of the latest posts is someone saying they're getting a Wii U because Zelda sold them on it. :|

There's a chance they actually took content out of that early build just for the sake of teasing. :v

4172d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

@torchic Polish before content. This isn't the PS3 version of Skyrim we all saw. And I played the PS3 version of Skyrim. Never again. -.-

The last 3D Zelda came out in 2011...

4172d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

They didn't have folders on launch? o.O How unstable was it exactly?

4172d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I choose the delay. I would rather wait for a good game than complain about a bad game taking too long to come out.
