Probably my favorite title from Ninja Theory. It was a gem and didn't get enough recognition.

MS never said the trailer was running on an Series X. It was even stated during the presentation at the top of the screen.

Can't wait to watch it! Good times ahead!

Milk a new IP by supporting it? Lol I've heard everything.

It's a really fun game and I'm glad they will continue to support it going into next gen. I look forward to seeing more info on Everwild soon!

Yes, it is dumb. Nobody is going to release that many 1st party games day one. Why don't you hold Sony to the same standards? Oh because it's ridicules and dumb. Nobody is hiding behind BC titles. Being able to access 1000's of games day 1 is icing on the cake. This is in no way taking away from launch titles. Do you even know what the launch titles for either console will be? You're just type stuff without using your brain.

Series X Spatial Audio does the same thing and can offload audio processing from the CPU just like the Tempest engine. Both have similar audio hardware. Series X GPU has 52 CUs vs Sony's 36 CUs. The GPU for the Series X is designed with DXR in mind. When compared to the Ps5 GPU, Series X has the advantage and this is where Raytracing is utilized. Xbox Velocity Hardware consists of The custom NVMe SSD, a dedicated hardware decompression block, the all new DirectStorage API, and Sampler Fee...

It's impossible to please everyone.

Great month!

2111d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

It won't because it won't change the fact Series X is more powerful. Going into next-gen with the most powerful console is not the same as a mid-gen upgrade.

Excellent to hear! Easily one of the best games this generation.

The only advantage ps5 has over the series X is the I/O block and doesn't split RAM, which only means the system is faster, but in every other category it falls short to the Series X. Then everyone seems to forget Xbox Velocity Architecture improves how Xbox Series X loads game assets from storage, known as asset streaming, while reducing the space those assets occupy on the drive to make up for SSD speed. Then we can throw in the fact Series X has 44% more Ray-tracing hardware support.

You're right, my bad. It still doesn't change the fact it is the most powerful console.

What does power have to do with the article?

So what is the alternate? Not support BC. This feature is aimed mostly towards current Xbox owners. Then if someone who has never own an xbox or any console, they have access to thousands of games they may or may not have played before. There will still be AAA 1st party games on the series X within that time frame. Let's not forgot 3rd party next gen only games (Scorn, The medium to name some)which is more than enough reason for someone to upgrade.

Being able to play BC games day 1 isn't the same as launch games. Less than 10 at launch? When has Sony or Nintendo released 10 1st party games at launch? That would be dumb as hell to release that many games all at once. 1-3 really good games is all you need, then the rest filled with 3rd party.

2111d ago 5 agree3 disagreeView comment

You need to stop saying the same thing. MS already confirmed almost every X1 game will be BC. Considering there are thousands of X1 games, it's not a hard thing to grasp. Then add the current BC games, yeah it's in the thousands.

It's going to be great to be able to bring my whole collection of games without worrying they won't be compatible. On top of that, a good chunk of them may get enhancements. Good times ahead.
