That's not going to happen so just play the games on your PC.
Sony had a good showing, but it certainly wasn't overwhelming with AAA exclusives. It had a nice mix of Indie and AAA with most of the 3rd party exclusives being timed. I can see MS matching that if not exceeding it.
They need to knock it out of the park with Halo Infinite. Playgrounds new RPG, The Initiatives new game, Hellblade 2, Everwild, Obsidian new RPG, and Forza 8. They make those announcements, people will be hyped for Series X. Anything else would be icing.
Overall I thought it was good. Some parts dragged and brought it down from being great. The last 15 or so minutes were the best. I like the look of the console and having a digital edition was an interesting surprise. Of the games announced the ones that peaked my interest were Horizon 2, RE8, Ratchet and Clank, Death Loop, GhostWire, Returnal, Project Athia, Little Devil Inside, Stray, and Hitman 3.
I prefer 60 overall for sure, but certain games don't need it. Hack and slash games are way better in 60 i.e Dark Souls, DMC5 that require timing with combat. Fight games of course need it and First Person Shooters are way better.
60 fps is a nice addition, but I don't personally think it's a deal breaker if a game doesn't have it. Granted, I'm not a complete graphics whore and as long as the games are locked at 30, 60, whatever. I'm okay with it. I will say, if the game has multiplayer, 60 fps is ideal. If it's just single player focused, I'm okay with 30, or if 30 is single player and 60 is multiplayer, I'm cool with that too.
Halo Infinite, Cyberpunk 2077, Last of Us 2, Psychonauts 2, Watch Dogs Legion is my top 5 for now.
Anyone who likes Xbox is a PR bot confirmed. God forbid anyone gets excited for something not Sony related.
I love these kind of baseless takes. Let me guess, Hellblade 2 is going to be a mediocre GaaS game now?
This is what happens when a racist can't hold it in any more 😂. Come on mods, delete this garbage for good.
Bro, read closely the quote you posted. "Originally only supporting crossplay for a small number of developers, in 2019 Sony made it so that ANY developer could implement crossplay into their games."
They never said Sony didn't have crossplay before 2019. Not any developer could implement crossplay before 2019, which is true.
They are referring to Sony announcing crossplay across all platforms. Developers couldn't just implement crossplay on ps4 without Sonys approval. Now any developer can can do it. This happened in 2019.
Goes to show Xbox dedication to cross play. This number will substantially increase next gen.
You got any evidence to back that up that claim? No, then stop spreading lies. With that said, I don't believe a console needs to launch with some crazy heavy hitter to succeed, but it certainly helps.
Let's not think about the console wars for a second. Why would Microsoft choose specific components for their GPU if they weren't going to get the most out of it? It just doesn't make any sense.
Absolutely. It was my favorite time of year when it came to gaming news. Even the cringy stuff is what made it special.
Don't you worry, there will still be comparisons.
I'm going to assume you have no idea what you're talking about.
Nice titles! I plan on giving Thronebreaker, NMS, and Kingdom Hearts a go. It's kinda crazy all the Kingdom heart games are on gamepass now.
Sony did a good job yesterday, but if there was one thing they absolutely nailed, it was the presentation. It was clean and on point. Xbox needs to make sure they match that quality. Sorry Greenberg, no crappy webcams!
