You mean like how Sony was making a big deal out of cross-play when it was first announced? From what I've seen around, most ps4 owners wished Sony was offering something similar, but then we have Sony fantastics like yourself that can't even give credit where credits due.
I'm really not a fan of the horizontal look.
That was just my opinion, never said it was going to happen. It not like Gamespot knows either. It's all just speculation at this point.
I doubt the UI will be the same as what the X1 has now. I see both consoles getting a new UI to keep them unified. No reason to leave the X1 behind. The new Xbox store UI leaked a little while ago.
We haven't even seen all the games Xbox has at launch so maybe wait before making any final judgements. With that said, Medium and Scorn won't release on X1, so you're already wrong. Smart delivery is a wonderful feature and simply a bad opinion if you don't think so. The UI is going to be updated before the system releases for both X1 and XSX. The new Xbox store front was leaked recently. With how often Xbox updates the UI anyways, it really doesn't matter. How much did t...
You're really drinking that Sony kool-aid if you don't think a PC or XSX could run that lol
I'm glad I started playing Metro Exodus last week. I'll finish it before it leaves.
I think the ideal situation is the deal falls through and all the studios are sold separately. Otherwise, I see a lot if people losing their job if everyone is bought up in a single buy.
And MS should have allowed it last gen, but that was then and this is now. The difference from last gen was FF14 was the only game I can think of that the developer wanted crossplay between consoles, so they didn't even release the game on xbox because of it. It didn't even become a popular feature until this gen. It almost makes Sony look worse because they went from supporting it and then backtracking once they realized MS and Nintendo were actually for real about crossplay.
Sony was the one taking away the choice from developers. The difference is any developer couldn't add crossplay without Sony's approval until late 2019. I don't care if a game has crossplay or not, as long as the developer is able to use the feature as they please.
I really enjoyed the AC games during the 7th gen. I beat AC1, 2, brotherhood, and Revalation. Since then I get burned out so quickly and can't seem to finish them. During Revelations is when I started feeling the fatigue. It's not for a lack of trying I have most of the games during this gen. I bough Origins recently to hope I would get back into the series. And while I found the first 8 hours enjoyable, I once again lost interest. I think it has to do with the story not captivating m...
Still more support than any of the other console maker so I don't understand what you're complaining about.
Way to make something out of nothing. MS isn't forcing developers to make games crossplay, the developers have a choice if they want to include it or not. With that said, it will probably get crossplay down the road, it just won't be there at launch.
Probably the gamer who follows all video games news, but the average gamer probably doesn't. They want as many people to know about it as possible.
As of right now, sure, Series name seems pointless, but once they announce the "S" version or whatever, then it will make sense.
Maybe because he's still a gamer above all else? Just because someone was once affiliated with a console brand doesn't mean he's not allowed to share his opinion about other consoles.
It only took The Coalition 2 weeks to get Gears 5 running on XSX with raytracing and running at 4k, 100 FPS. I think indie devs will be fine.
The whole purpose of this cheaper version is to offer the same graphical experience but at a lower res. CPU will likely stay the same with less Tflops, maybe ray tracing disabled or something like that. We can't say for sure until we get actual specs, but I find it hard to believe MS would release a cheaper model if it wasn't easily scalable with the Series X.
I feel like it's the opposite. They made it overly complicated for any casual fans.
Oh yes, continue to downplay it just like most things that don't fit your agenda. Let's also not forget Cross-buy that Sony fans love bring up in every article about smart delivery
