Like they're just gonna release a new SKU for a 20GB increase, when you can put a 300GB one yourself if you want.
And like they would mention a DD change in an official demand (which must be done as soon as you change stuff related to communications) for bluetooth modifications
Credibility : 0.05%
nevermind. XD
I don't get it.
A company neither invented nor developped bluetooth, but they still sue other companies for using this technology ? o_O
Well, with your 360, you destroy the planet but you don't even help research :o
And trust me, 100$ per year means NOTHING compared to the amount of time they save with PS3's folding for them.
The Xbox 360 has more games and better games as of today.
The xbox 360 has a better market place with a lot more downloadable content, demos, etc.
-> That's a question of time, not quality. Since it came out 1 year after the PS3, sure it will have more games, demos etc, and then most probably, more "better games" (that's a matter of personnal preferences, tho)
The XBox 360 has a better and robust online service.
-> Cost? Say you keep your c...
"We want an easy hardware so we actually can code crappy games very quickly to make money asap"
Lol, what a stupid article. What's the point exactly ?
Then they should calculate the cost when people leave their PC 24/7 to DL music, movies, or games.
They should calculate the yield too. Because since PS3's fold 20 times faster than PC's, to get the same amount of results it would cost at least 20 times more with PC's.
So actually, thanks to the PS3, stanford gets results at a lower cost.
"1080p is useless" -> we make an update to unlock a scaler and push the "our console can do it too !!1!one" like hell (and actually we had to wait VT3 to see true native 1080p on the 360. Wait, I thought it was a lame tennis game, no performance here with only 2 players blablabla)
"HDMI is useless" -> we make ANOTHER SKU with HDMI
"next gen formats are unproven and useless" -> we make an external HD-DVD drive
Well, at least we don't see any reports of thousands of PS3's frying, unlike the 360.
Besides, if you had read the article a bit instead of rushing in to troll, maybe you'd understand that all redesigns in the boards drawings are due to the removal of the EE chip :]
That's like SUPER OLD.
Folding @ home proves that the Cell really is 8 times (more like 10-20 actually) faster than current PC processors.
It's highly unprobable that euro PS3's have a 65nm Cell, because it looks like the size is just the same.
Anyways, this realyl is a huge redesign of the motherboard, they really worked hard on it.
Nice damage control attempt mate. A few moments ago you were rejoycing with "accurate reports" stating that PS3's wasn't selling, and now you say "bah, whatever"
Besides, the 360 had shortages ? Too bad for them. The result is here. The PS3 is the fastest selling console ever in UK. MS should have worked harder, and not rush their launch. They had no choice tho, if they'd launch at the same time or right after the PS3, they would be already losing.
Lol, this picture looks like a lame photoshop edit.
Er, those numbers are for UK ONLY.
Europe should be around 500k for first weekend, if VGcharts is right.
So 100 TV's given to the first buyers in one store explains 165k sells ?
Good try, but no xD
Damn, just posted this news too, ho well :P
Anyways
"ChartTrack has confirmed that 165,000 PS3 units were sold during the console's launch weekend."
Here's your source
I gave it a try today, the interface is very pretty cool. Didn't understant the world map very well. There are some blueish lights, and yellow lights. Do all lights represent PS3's connected, or just the yellow ones ?
maybe there's some kind of color scales, too.
During the PS3 launch event in France, there was some guy from a developping company (don't remember which one, but no it wasn't SCE) that confirmed that GoW will come to the PSP. He sounded like it wouldn't be the same game tho. Still with Kratos, but different genre.
Patents aren't nit-picking is the US, because you can patent like everything, and the texts are usually not really accurate. So companies can patent something, just claiming some unclear points, and then come like "look ! that's what we said ! give the money !"
Patents in Europe are much more controlled and precise, and you can't just patent ideas.
Now i find it very funny that a non-profit, research fundation is asking for money.
