It's not about "the price is high"
It's all about the price it actually costs to the manufacturer.
Sony is actually losing money on the PS3. It costs 'em 800+$ and they sell it for 600.
Then you have microsoft who sells a 100$ worth HDD for 180$
"Someone submitted this thread as news to N4G.com stating that the Killzone PS3 site is going live. There's going to be a lot of disappointed people"

Now azfter downloading the update, it actually tells you what's changed. Nice one, the "omg what does it do" times are over !
Much props to Insomniac for this.
They must be one of the most respectable devs ever, and this one just confirms that.
"ok so all im seeing is ps3 fans getting all pissy again, why do sony fans have such need to do nothing but bash the 360 all day long?"
Are you kidding ?
I mean, ALL PS3 news are getting screwed by 360 fans that just come and bash or spin everything. Now go get a look at the 360 section.
Thanks for your link too, made me laugh. 90% of those posts are either fakes, or people that can't figure how to set up a PS3 correctly, or multiple posts that p...
Got my confirmation mail a few days ago. Won't get the disk soon tho, as it'll be released in May, here.
Realism in what ? graphics wise ?
Because if you're speaking about gameplay, MS isn't a sim at all, even tho the car behavior is nicely done.
And I like MS better. In Dirt the car just seems to be stuck to the road and looks like it does not react at all to turns etc. As if they had no suspesions. It's a rally car damnit, not an F1.
So for now, MS just beats the crap out of Dirt, physics wise.
2 completely different games, gameplay wise. Just stupid to compare 'em. Buy both and stfu :D
Only worthy comparison for me : i'm way better at motorstorm than the dude playing Dirt.
I doubt there will be hundreds of ennemies at once in Halo.
Using the same overall strategy for AI for a dozen or hundreds of ennemies isn't exactly the same thing in the end.
Durability has nothing to do with weight. Rumble does.
This endless argument is just stupid anyways, because it's a matter of personnal preferences (and maybe hand morphology). Personnaly I like Son'ys controllers design.
Back on topic, so how do you make 4 triggers work in a controller that has 2 ? :p
VGcharts numbers look close to the reality to me. Of course they can't be perfectly accurate, but this site is using sources that people here consider to be correct. NPD for NA and MC for Japan. Dunno where the numbers from europe come from tho, since usually we only see numbers for UK, other countries aern't really covered.
LTD from media create are
825,901 for the PS3
346,678 for the 360
In both cases VGcharts numbers are a bit overestimated, but...
Ok now this is just crazy.
THAT'S what I call scale. And the number of stuff running on the screen is just ridiculous XD
More videos plz.
People still bring this article ?
It's a complete piece of crap, full of mistakes and personnale interpretations :/
Well, even if they haven't developped on the 360, I guess game developpers have enough knowledge to be able to tell how hardware works right ? Especially when this hardware is very PC like.
Besides, I don't see any reason for him to say "yeah port from PS3 to 360 is easier" if it isn't true. What exactly would be the reason for lying about this ?
super old
Lair sucks, lacks bald space marines'n'stuff
There :D
"I happen to like Viva Pinata"
Oh, so it was you ? :p
Now seriously, that's a shame it bombed, it was an original and pretty game. guess it had the wrong audience.
And, yeah, you're totally right for dragonlance :D
"360 users usually don't pass on the original games"
You mean, like Viva Piñata that totally bombed ?
b-b-b-b-but it's all about CHOICE =(
