Viruses are designed to affect specific OS or programs. If you've got a virus on a PC and copy the infected file on a mac, it won't do anything.

Gears has stunning graphics yeah. If you restrict yourself to the foreground. The backgrounds look blurry as hell (so does Too Human, blame the UE3 engine) and in terms of draw distance orstuff running onscreen at the same time, it's NOWHERE close to RFoM.
Watch the Home and LBP presentation @ GDC again, because you clearly see someone inviting people in a LBP game from home.

Depends what you call graphical power. If you restrict it to pretty polish, then the 360 is on top at the moment (altho titles like Motorstorm are very impressive in this department).
If you take into account draw distance and geometry, then the PS3 is far more advance. Look at the scale and details of games like RFoM or Lair. didn't see any game approaching that level on the 360. Because the Cell help a LOT for that.
I'm not very shocked by the look of the game, generally speaking. Looks ok
Now, pay attention to some details like weapons going thru body parts, shadows coming from nowhere etc. What the hell is this crap lol

Yeah Ubi is a big dev.
But look at their average game production. They suck. No matter the platform, they suck. Ubi used to be a good dev, now they just are EAish. One good game once and then, and tons of crap.
I find it funny, Ubi develops an exclusive game and says "well, couldn't be done on the PS3" and everybody comes yelling "seeee ? told ya PS3 sucks lolol"
Now other devs come saying "could be done on PS3 only" a...
Seeing how their ports suck, that's not surprising.
Yeah, they couldn't do that on the PS3, because they actually don't know how to code properly on the PS3 xD
I doubt it'll just be an addition of content like demos etc. This kind of stuff is just added on the fly and doesn't need any downtime of the servers.
If they're taking both PSN and PSS down for 3 hours, we can expect some maintenance but also some nice upgrades. And not only content.
