They haven't had momentum since the launch of the Kinect. From the launch of Kinect up to now, it's been blunder after blunder.
This is why I wanted a Pro in the first place and this is why I will be getting one! Of course I'll be happy to benefit from the Pro on other games as well, but THIS is why I'm getting one!
@RaidenBlack
If you want to know the truth, NONE of them are necessary. I just wanted to make sure you knew that about Shadowfall. I don't know how long it's been since you've played it but playing it on PS5 at 60fps is nice!
Did you know Shadowfall already runs at 60fps on PS5? It has unlocked framerate and PS5 bumps it to 60. The game already looks gorgeous, running on an early version of the Horizon/Decima engine. I'm not sure if a Remastered version is necessary.
And that performance is without PSSR implementation.
The game is absolutely delightful! I bought it Saturday and my kids and I played it all weekend! The only thing that would've made this game better was couch/online co-op.
What I think a lot of PC gamers don't understand is regardless of whether this PC build can or can't match PS5 Pro's power, that's not the point. The point is, console gamers PREFER to play on console. They're not looking to switch to PC. PC rigs outperforming consoles has ALWAYS been a thing. But there will always be a market for console gaming and there is a large enough percentage of that market that wants access to the most powerful console possible. PS5 Pro will ...
Are you self aware of how sad and pathetic you are, or are you still on that journey? Just curious, what motivates you to pop up in every PlayStation thread and criticize, marginalize, and downplay? Jeez dude, show us on the doll where Sony touched you! I think THIS is your actual hobby, not gaming.
@fr0sty.
Man, Xbox/PC gamers are really in their feels over this Pro console aren't they? LMAO! I can't wait to upgrade! It's going to be a...
Astrobot in Smash Brothers CONFIRMED!
@CS7
I'm not defending it. I'm simply stating a fact. I don't even use mine. It's just like the PS2 vertical stand. Sure you could buy one if it made you feel better, but the ps2 stood on its side easily without it. COULD they have included it? Yeah absolutely. Is it worth burning them at the stake over it? No. It's dumb fake outrage.
To you.
You don't need it. You really don't. The base of the PS5 is wide enough that it stands vertically with plenty of stability.
This is what I'm talking about! I waited to play FF7 Rebirth for this very reason! Can't wait to play it on Pro!
@Vitalogy
My bad! I misunderstood. I thought he was saying the PS5 needed the stand, not that it came with it.
No it didn't. The base of the PS5 is plenty wide enough to stand vertically and be stable.
I don't know, is it? Do we have an actual component cost breakdown of the PS5 Pro? Because until we do, anyone defending or criticizing the price is clueless.
Do you want a powerful console or a cheaper console? Because you can't have both! You have to pick your "poison" so to speak and the great news is you CAN. I'd love to know what all you keyboard experts think a reasonable price should be for what's going to be the most powerful console on the market.
Don't waste your breath. The usual cast of simpletons are out in full force today. No matter how much sense you make, you're still casting pearls before swine.
Ubisoft is like a bakery that churns out a lot of cakes that are pretty to look at, but taste very bland. When it comes to games, their entire design philosophy is quantity over quality. All of their games have a mass produced "assembly line" feel to them. I have not purchased an Ubisoft game since Rayman Legends on PS4.
Xbox destroyed Xbox. MS allowed them to operate with autonomy up until they acquired Activision. Only then did MS decide they were taking over because they want to see ROI after spending 80 billion dollars!
