Oooooh yes! Lets all play Pokémon for the 9 MILLIONTH time, despite there being so many more superior RPG's in the wild! Yes, let's keep playing "Baby's First RPG".
"If youre going to bother with getting a dedicated handheld gaming device at all, why wouldnt you get a Switch 2?"
@DarXyde
I guess because not all of us worship at the altar of Nintendo and think their IP's are in this "class by themselves" category of quality? I find most of Nintendo's games extremely dull and antiquated in their design. Plus, the Switch 2 launched already so far behind the 8 ball in power, even for a handh...
Going back to exclusivity now would be galactically stupid.
Its not like there arent countless alternatives in the portable gaming space now though. If portability is so crucial for them, why arent Steam Decks and ROG's not doing gangbusters over there?
Yes they do. I got digital refunds on both No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk 2077 when they first launched.
I agree. I dont get it.
I'll take worst ideas ever conceived for 500, Alex!
Oh FFS!
Confirmed! Project Magnus will be a huge success!
Yeah, I loved the Dreamcast, but massive oversight not including a right analog stick. A very strange design decision considering that dual analog was already standardized by Sony during the PS1 generation. Virtual On was literally unplayable on the controller because of it.
Maybe the problem isnt the engine. Maybe the problem is you're playing on "Pee See" where the optimization sucks. LOL!
Several things still need to happen with the tech for VR to hope to be more mainstream.
1. It has to get cheaper (under 200.00)
2. It has to get smaller (down to something like a pair of glasses).
3. It has to get better (at least 220×135 field of view, zero screen door effect, 8K resolution, increased frames per eye, etc).
4. It has to be more widely supported beyond videogames (sporting events, travel, vide...
I know some people want to think the staggered release is strategic, but its not. It really comes down to develop cycles. Im sure if MS could have, they would have released it simultaneously on PS5.
No, the Nintendo of America president carries absolutely no power or influence when it comes to creative decisions, production pipelines, or pricing. Nintendo is 100% a Japanese company, ran by Japanese executives. The NOA president is simply a figure head. A spokesperson.
Maybe Sony isnt interested in doing it without the assistance of Miyazaki and he's not interested? (Just spit-balling).
There might be some licensing red tape they cant get around?
No, its not and shame on you for having that kind of entitlement! Two wrongs do not make a right. Just because you dont agree with Nintendo's business model, doesnt give you or anyone else the right to steal. If you dont like it, dont support it. But that doesnt give you the right to just take something that doesnt belong to you.
@Sabbath1313
Damn, I didnt realize they had gotten so expensive! Hahaha!! Thanks for further driving my point home! I swear some (not all) PC gamers are damn idiots!
OR Steam users could get off their asses and buy a PS5. They have no problem dropping 500-700 on the latest NVIDIA 5000 Whos-it Whats it graphics card. Spend 400 and get a PS5.
SOME PC's. I love how these articles love to assume every PC gamer has a 5080 under the hood.
