Nice to hear Sam Fisher's voice again.
I think it came from one of the many who didn't say it looks better than Crysis.
I didn't get into the LP2 demo myself but then again I just played a bit to see what it was like so I might give it a proper play through if I get the time.
360 owners had better buy this game I don't want Remedy going under.
MS is good with the marketing so it should do rather well but it's success isn't tied to marketing alone. Let's hope there's enough interest in the game for Remedy to make a nice profit out of it.
I don't think she looks man-ish but sometimes changes need to be made to suit the character in the story.
That's a pretty harsh thing to do TBH.
There must be a better way encouraging people to buy new instead of pre-owned. Bioware seems to have the right idea with the Cerberus network thing (I'm assuming the Cerberus network card you get can only be used once and that a pre-owned copy would not come with it) which gives users access to free DLC (is it free on consoles?).
O_O really nice.
That first bit where he's going upstairs calling for his wife reminded me so much of Max Payne but I thought the end with the talking light was a bit weird (should make sense once you play the game though).
The video really got me into the game. 360 owners will definitely have a blast playing it.
I'm jealous lol.
edit:
@ below, it does give you more of what you could call "eye candy" as it does look more appe...
Whether or not Sony picks up QD's next project won't be down to just Heavy Rain's success but will also depend on whatever that project might be.
If Heavy Rain doesn't do well then that might put Sony off a little but if QD go for a more mainstream project with a high chance of success then that could outweigh Heavy Rain's financial failure.
What I'm trying to say is it's not as simple as you're making it out to be.
This game looks great but I hate that it has so much empty land. The open areas don't really look interesting enough for me to want to explore them.
edit:
The closed spaces (indoor areas) look really nice though.
That's weird about Liverpool. What are they up to? Surely Sony would have them working on something.
I thought "blockbuster" meant something that does extremely well sales wise.
'Something, such as a film or book, that sustains widespread popularity and achieves enormous sales.'

Blockbuster titles do have quality (else they wouldn't be blockbuster) but something doesn't have to have a high level of quality to be a blockbuster i.e. Modern Warfare...
There are other characters Alan meets in the game who help him out. Like the guy with Christmas lights wrapped around him. It could be one of them.
Massive slowdown? I thought it was some sort of "bullet time" effect.
Anyway the lighting is pretty impressive in this game but the game makes use of a few light sources on screen really well to get it looking as nice as it does. When it comes to additional light sources like the ones you'd expect from an exploding flare (which look really nice BTW) it doesn't really have any.
Some people might say how could it not have a light source when it's clearly very...
I need to get myself a copy of Windows 7. I should have bought the £30 student offer.
edit: These images prove gray colour palettes can still be used to great effect.
It seems this game and Red Dead Redemption are being overlooked by a lot of people probably because of all the other great high profile games coming out.
The features weren't confirmed they were just features that could possibly be in the premium service.
Some of the features listed were really great though. Access to betas is good enough but the one where you get full access to all the games on PSN (without having to pay for them) was pretty great and well worth £50 a year TBH (no idea what the actual price will be).
Still, all we can do is wait to find out. Hopefully there'll be info about it at E3.
Finally.
Now I don't need to import.
Notice how he emphasises that they're "exact" and "same" then going on to mention that the graphics are "comparable".
I don't really have a choice in which one to buy as I don't have a 360 yet but I hope they do turn out to be the same and not just comparable as it'll save me from reading a lot of fanboy drivel.
Yep that does make sense.
I think that with him being a 360 fanboy he was trying to compensate for saying there's nothing like it on the Xbox 360 which is true but he obviously doesn't realise that Alan Wake is nothing like Heavy Rain so there will still be nothing like it on the 360.
