Clans have been managed like that for years on PC and it works but for console games (which are relatively new to online gaming) I think a system like the one in K2 would be good to adopt.
You're right. Five is far too short for a console that's been around for over a decade.
Completely agree. Remedy really is showing what the 360 can do.
Also, what's with so many people spelling 'lighting' as 'lightning'? It's not like the 'N' key is next to the 'T' or 'I' keys.
edit: @HowarthsNJ, no you didn't miss it.
I noticed that from screenshots a while back. Not every light source in the game casts shadows and not everything in the game that you see giving off light actually has it's own light source (e.g. the sparks from flares) since you c...
They've made excellent use of the lighting in this game. Really makes it look great though I don't really see the use of so much bullet-time. I wonder if the bullet-time is controllable.
I think you'll find there are more people that dislike you than there are envious of the way Alan Wake looks lol.
It looks great but it's not like PS3 fans haven't seen better on their console of choice.
I hope it's a proper sequel and not a remake. As good as Doom 3 was as a remake it wasn't all that great of an FPS for the time it was released in.
Battlefield 2 should not cost you anywhere near $40 let alone $60.
I'm assuming you mean Bad Company 2 in which case as amazing as Killzone 2 is you have a higher chance of liking the gameplay of Bad Company 2 more. So get Bad Company 2.
edit: Killzone 2 can be picked up pretty cheap now so save a little extra money and get a pre-owned copy of that too as it's not something you should miss.
I'll admit the PS3 version does have blurry textures but it's nowhere near as bad as it is in Bayonetta. It's the kind of difference that's only noticeable in a comparison so as long as the gameplay is up to scratch it'll be fun to play.
No surprise there.
I can see what people are upset about but Blizzard seems to be giving both genders of each class the same stance. The animation worked for the female wizard but didn't translate too well into the male wizard.
It's nothing I'd lose sleep over though.
Actually, Bungie's not been around for a while.
It's very unusual to go a full day without seeing any of his comments.
K3 in 3D would be amazing on it's own. This coupled with the option to use the wand (with nunchuk) would certainly be a very unique gaming experience as long as it controls well.
I find wand support to be hard to believe when it comes to K3 due to the likely-hood of it having weighty movement again. When playing K2 you get a sense of weight when using the DS3 which I think would be hard to replicate using the wand.
There's no way it's going to be mandatory. Only a fool would make such a decision.
This sounds pretty cool. If I can play Fable3 with my mates who have 360s then I'm all for it.
Sounds pretty cool but still doesn't seem like the kind of game that will hit 4 million in sales.
Ico, SotC Collection would be amazing.
I'd buy it day one as I've put aside the money for it just in case it happens.
What a great game. One of the few I could have played again straight after completing it.
I'm surprised there's no-one commenting on a game as good as this.
I agree, he does seem pretty full of himself to be saying something like that. It sounds like it's going to be a new IP so that drops the likelyhood of high sales even more.
It's far too early to be jumping to conclusions.
We should wait and see how it turns out. Everything we know of the game so far is really interesting and even if it was exclusive it may not have been visually better. It won't matter as long as it's fun to play. It's not like this year is lacking exclusive games anyway.
True that. It won't be long before there's a cracked version that doesn't require an internet connection.
