There doesn't seem to be any AA on the PC version screenshots.
It seems they both have their ups and downs.
Look at where it says "FALLEN FALLEN IS BABYLON" and the PS3 one looks sharper.
edit: tried to link to the image but for some reason my links keep going to the same page. Anyway, look for the image with the graffiti that says "FALLEN FALLEN IS BABYLON".
This one as pointed out by Jason360 shows the stairs better on 360
I'm also glad Oblivion is in there too as it often gets overlooked/forgotten.
I hope it's Unreal 3
I can't remember what the statistics were about how often people in the UK go to the cinema but it was pretty often.
I think a good way to advertise this would be in cinemas before movies that are comparable to Heavy Rain as the people who are watching that movie are likely to also be interested in Heavy Rain too.
edit:
About the advert itself, I think it would be better to have one where people who have played the game talk about it while showing the what they...
I played the demo about an hour ago and I'm pretty impressed. The way the fight scene played out put a smile on my face.
I'm glad I pre-ordered the collector's edition as it's going to be a very unique experience.
PC gamer does one of these lists every year and TBH their top 100 list is usually pretty well thought out.
Shadow of the Colossus isn't a franchise.
edit: I haven't played any of Team Ico or Quantic Dream's games before so I'm looking forward to Heavy Rain and The Last Guardian as I've heard and read a lot about how good their previous games were.
We need to set this straight.
Mass Effect as pretty as it is isn't anywhere near U2 level graphics even on the PC which is a straight port as it has the same res textures and the extra effects forced through hardware with a higher res don't really increase the impressiveness of its visuals (just makes it look sharper).
I love the way ME2 looks but U2 is better not just in terms of the technical stuff too (e.g. lighting which is amazing).
Loading times seem to be much quicker on PC.
Also, I noticed the scanning footage in the vid was really slow. If that's the scanning on 360 it really is slow. It's much faster on PC which is why it wasn't a problem for me.
Not too keen on these guys. They don't seem to give proper level headed opinions for people who should be professional. Maybe that's just me expecting too much.
Damn right I cringed.
I hope they can improve on what made the original's so great.
I played the PC version which has very short load times and thought the voice acting was pretty good and facial animation was good though not great.
There's nothing wrong with the probe resource gathering IMO. If you need resources for upgrades which make the game so much easier (especially the final mission) you need to work for it. It's no good making it easy to get full upgrades because that way you don't have that feeling of accomplishment.
I personally like to check out the odd low score every for whatever it is I'm interested in buying. The top scoring reviews tend to on and on about how great something is.
I find that the lower scoring reviews can give you an insight into the things (however big or small) that might be an issue for me personally which may not get picked up on by a rave review.
This game is a solid 9+ for me. I loved all the tough choices I had to make throughout the game knowing it ...
It's actually pretty good.
Hopefully it'll improve over time as it's worth playing but ends up a bit of a grind when you get to 30ish.
WKC has nothing to do with this lol.
You don't need to have play a game to know what it's like visually since anyone can see HD gameplay footage and screenshots.
Also, I've seen the open enironments in FFXIII and they're not great. There's a hell of a lot of space with nothing in it. http://uk.ps3.ign.com/dor/o...
It's a very pretty game in smaller maps but ...
You don't need great reviews to enjoy a game.
No need to test on Macs since if it works on one, it'll work one pretty much all others of a similar spec.
I don't see anything wrong with the price myself. They seem to have put a lot of work into the tech of this game. Also, people pay full price for SP only games that are good (me included) so I wouldn't have a problem paying £40 for it. The only thing holding me back is that I haven't been able to try the beta so I don't know whether I want to buy it.
It doesn't take much to realise that this game is extremely unique and that nothing has been released since Indigo Prophecy that's comparable to it.
