Now you can pleasure your girlfriend while you beat her up on Motion Fighter.
What's experimental about Peace Walker?
edit: I know lol but I thought you might know of some details about what's experimental that I might have missed.
Yeah Peace Walker is pretty much MGS5. I think Kojima mentioned somewhere that it would have been kept as MGS5 if it was on console.
That would be great but I don't see them bringing out a new engine before HL3 just as with HL2.
I understand what snaz is saying and kind of agree too.
GoW3 using 50% of it's power now and using 50% after engine refinement are not the same. If GoW3 is actually using 50% of the PS3s power then surely they wouldn't have needed to include a few pre-rendered scenes for the parts that were 'too epic' to do in-game.
'some scenes were just to epic to run real time and thus are recorded videos'
The mouse is still more precise than the Move IMO.
The best control setup is mouse + nunchuk as WASD keys only allow you to move 8 directions which works fine as it is but being able to move in full 360degree direction is better.
I'm buying this regardless. I've missed playing as Sam Fisher and the co-op looks amazing.
From the article:
'Four PlayStation Move controllers can connect to a PS3 at one time (or two PlayStation Move Controllers and 2 PlayStation Move sub-controllers).'
The article states that a complete experience requires 4 people each using a dual controller setup.
As far as I can tell it can support four players.
The kinds of games that allow 4 player gaming are the kind that only require one Move controller (e.g. bowling or that silly painting game).
We all know that it's Sony's first party studios that are going to make the best use of this tech so I'm interested to see what they come up with.
I've got my fingers crossed for well thought out third party motion implementation.
The $100 dollar bundle is good for casuals but TBH for core gamers all they will need is a Move controller + nunchuk and that's not much. This isn't true for everyone but it is for me as I'll be buying only core games on my PS3 as I won't be buying casual games.
edit: @soulraver, that's just what I was thinking. Only a fool would buy a starter pack for each person wanting to play. The starter pack is to get you up and running with the motion tech. If you want others to play along...
I want a new Oni game.
If Move is a copy of the Wii controller then Natal is a copy of the PSEye.
Whoever submitted this obviously used the two most negative paragraphs from the page to give the wrong impression to those who don't bother to read the article.
It may not be a great blog post but it's not all negative.
edit: I don't really get how Sony is going to get the Wii crowd with this TBH. Casual gamers with a Wii are likely to see this as just another Wii type controller and will find moving to Natal to be the more natural migration path.
Yeah I know MGS4 isn't the same which is why I mentioned it while saying I have nothing to compare it to. I intend to play the others though I don't have a PS2 and was hoping they'd do HD versions at some point.
Maybe I should borrow a copy and use an emulator as my PC should be powerful enough to run it.
I personally think it does go both ways.
It's just that there are more mindless monkeys in one section of the cage than the other meaning that more shi1t gets flung from the side with more monkeys.
It's obvious from what information there is so far that some of the games playable at GDC have zero lag while others do have some. Focusing on the lag of one game doesn't mean the tech is bad only that it isn't working as well for that particular game as it is for others.
Keep in mind that these are pre-alpha demos and as with the sixaxis it'll come down to the developers to utilise it properly.
On another note, I noticed that the motion controls for LBP leave the p...
I've only ever played MGS4 from the MGS franchise so I can't compare this to other MGS games but I'm liking the look of this game-play.
You don't seem to realise that the right move controller acts as the right analog stick.

I thought he was taking a jab at Game's prices.
