The gameplay is similar to the previous games as you'd expect. It is a sequel after all and they're giving us what we want which is more of the same with improvements. There was nothing wrong with the gameplay before so I don't see why they'd change it TBH.
You may not be too keen on it but most of us are and that's why other games have copied it's gameplay.
It's not that big a deal as I expected. This guy over exagerates everything about his games.
Did I miss something from E3?
What did he say?
It's all in-game? :O
Now that's impressive. There I was thinking it was a mixture of pre-rendered (in-engine) scenes and gameplay.
Ah right. Thanks
Are the two FF XIII games linked in some way story wise or are they completely seperate?
Completely forgot about the SWAT franchise.
A new SWAT game would be awesome.
People post links all the time.
I think by "no HTML" it means stuff with HTML tags and such.
So it's a new IP. I was kind of hoping Epic's main studio would be working on Unreal 3.
People in the US and Europe have been losing interest in the PS2 for the past few years now.
It was going to happen sooner or later as it's getting to the end of it's life but later on they may be able to make a quick profit from HD remakes of PS2 classics.
I personally don't see why familiar controls are a bad thing. It is a sequel after all and sequels are meant to provide more of the same with improvements.
IMO the only reason anyone should knock the controls of any game is if they weren't previously quite fit for purpose and haven't been improved.
I cared and there are quite a few others that loved the game through to the end.
As much as I loved the first one I think they should have just left it at that.
Actually one of the trailers shows the character getting orders to cut his finger so anyone whose seen it would know but I'm guessing you're one of the ones trying to stay away from any info about this game.
I'm looking forward to see just how good Crytek can get the game looking on consoles.
I guess that would make sense in case they wanted to publish large images in their magazine (like the ones that cover two pages). Even HD images can end up surprisingly small when you try and print them at 300dpi or whatever it is they print at.
It's anyones guess really but the main thing that worries me about this game is that the first one didn't keep me interested for very long so hopefully it'll be better.
It doesn't say which platform the screenshots are from.
Since the screenshots are most likely from Crytek they'll be wanting to show the game at it's best so I'm guessing they're PC screenshots.
edit: @below, ah right didn't know that. Sounds like it's gona look great even on consoles but it doesn't say which platform the screenshots are from.
true but that's part of what makes this game so great.
Definitely worth buying. I've pre-ordered the collector's edition from HMV as it's the only place in the UK that's doing it.
Really looking forward to SC. Alan Wake looking really good but has no chance of coming to PC which is a shame but at least it gives me +1 reason to get a 360.
I wasn't expecting much from Fable3's visuals but then again that series has never been about graphics though it's visual style is quite unique.
What are your experiences with the Fable2? I liked the first one but didn't think it was all that and I'm still looking for reasons to get a 360 as I don't want to get one ...
