That kind of example is very outrageous to state the Suikoden series game "charging per character". If the industry got to that point, i doubt very many of us would still be using it as a way of entertainment.

There's a demo on the PC that you can check out, and there's one on XBL also iirc.
So you can try it out on console, and out on PC.
Thing is if you get the PC version, you get both Portal 1 & 2 from steam. They haven't said anything else that there's going to be.
