"Journalists are here to give us a second opinion"
That's the problem, it's JUST the opinion. There's no helpful information to back it up or anything.
Man people, barely 1/2 the US population has broadband connection for the internet, so how can you expect everyone to have HDTVs as well?
"It's already frozen on me more times than Fallout: New Vegas ever did, with almost all of those freezes requiring hard restarts"
I call BS on that. I have NEVER had another game freeze on me as much as New Vegas did. =P
Technical mess? Not really. Rushed though, I can see some places within that.
People on this site don't use their head much here. They see DRM, and it's instant "I don't care about this game anymore".
I question how much value these people are going to get when trying to connect onto the official servers in comparison to legit players, because there's not going to be much of a community with those that crack their games.
Seriously people need to think before clicking on that disagree.
I swear people assuming what people state on this site...good good....
It shows to me that very few here even played the beta or looked at it.
That's what the page basically said.
Before anyone talks crap about this game, it's actually pretty nice.
Been in the beta for about a month and 1/2 now, and think of Diablo + Spore.
Now granted this form of DRM can turn people off, thing is, if you don't play online in the game, you're only playing about maybe...a third of the game. It focuses on co-op campaign and PVP.
Actually Alpha, I had this bug hit me multiple times during my Very Hard run.
What happens is that the game loads up a new chapter, and for some odd reason one of these would happen:
-You load up with having full charge shots for all the weapons you have equipped.
-One weapon is loaded into both slots and thus it glitches out one of the slots where the only way to remedy it is by going to a dropship and changing weapons.
-You...

Nope. That's why we have to work smart, not hard in terms of brining the messages to the companies. :) Thing is there's other ways to do it instead of superficial ways of "putting it to the man" by doing something outside the boundaries of law. Most of these guys aren't Robin Hood, or have those intentions.

It's ironic you talk about other people "raging" when you made it very evident in your...
"And the whole "EA banned forum member and wouldn't let him access his game," is a complete fabrication. All he had to do was start a new account and activate his game"
Yes ignore the fact that the DLC products that they push so much through new copies gets tied to accounts and you're locked out on that. >_>
@LevelHead
You know that those that were serious about OtherOS usage actually contacted Sony up on this situation. They aren't here sitting on N4G arguing at others of the values of things.
Also there was no where on the box of any version of PS3 stating that OtherOS is an advertised piece of the product, AND THE FACT that it states that software changes are of note and more info dedicated to the EULA/TOS.
Don't care if you say the TO...
@darkpower
You do realize that crap doesn't hold up in court without legal documentation stating in contract that they had that in design.
Word of mouth doesn't just cut it.
Jesus, people with the bias caps on right now.
Guess what? They're called businesses. Sony VAIOs ship with Windows 7...Microsoft on their Retail Loyalty Site is having a contest where the main prize includes Sony BRAVIA 55 inch TV and a Sony BRAVIA 1000W 5.1-Ch. 3D/Wi-Fi Blu-ray Home Theater System.
Unfortunately though common sense here at times gets disagrees regardless.
@reedbananaboat
The point i'm getting across is that there's people out there that focus on console gaming, that haven't touched PC gaming, and vice-versa. Too many people just think that because they don't apply to the situation that everyone else doesn't either.
Plus it's not always true of the PC version of games being better than console. I can think of a few capcom games that I was disappointed with in terms of their performance f...
Oh the biggest improvement, is that the battle speed time was sped up. That and there's a balance on AP vs MP now. Most moves deal with MP instead of having to spam AP to do moves.
How many people that game on PC have a gamepad on hand? Regardless of the fact that gamepads are cheap, how many actually go out and get them over kb&m on most PC games? The only other ones are those that own either a wired 360 controller or a PS3 controller, and even then how many of those users at that point decide to get PC versions of most games?
It doesn't always relate to graphics in terms of overall quality.
Yes PC gaming has very strong points over co...
@Zir0
Seriously man...if you have nothing of intellect to even say, then just quit while you're ahead. If you're going to troll and/or be negative about this, at least use common sense....
"I think DA2 is more of an 83 than a 36. ;)"
Yea. The thing is that it's a double-edged sword on this situation. Thing is I will look more so at the content in what people say than the score. Thing is it's easy to give something a 4/10 or 9/10, it's harder to justify that in text.
Glad to see someone else here knows what the game's about.
