@Wenis
*facepalm*
People this is why you need to remember your sarcasm tags!
What I find it funny is that those defending Live neglect to mention any difference than the 5 out of the 6 platforms that don't charge you to play with others in terms of multiplayer.
People don't need Last fm, Facebook, etc on the console. Multiplayer DOES affect the purchase of the game.
How do you justify that?
"As amazing as the game's story is, it's hard to recommend throwing down $80 plus on an import copy of the game, when the English language version is just around the corner and will probably include the upcoming difficulty patch on the disc."
.....then what's the point of the review?
The only format it's identical with is the coding library, and even then you have to change a few variables around.
I don't get how comments on here from people that only play on consoles, to go ecstatic and go "it'll look better on this system because X reason", on something that was ONLY SHOWN on PC atm.
It's like what the hell?
It slang for "foundation". I do speak to people not on the net. It's called a slip of the tongue and mind. There was no "effort" to use a big word, and apparently slang is imaginary around here.
It would be somewhat foolish to stray from the staplehold they already did with Shift 1.
Ok that I get what you mean. Unfortunately though people will find a way to be cheap in either situation, whether it's client side based or server side base =|
@gorebago
Yea. To me the DW series is a guilty pleasure, because I like the Hack 'n Slash/Beat 'em Up style genre.
2 other games to look out for is MAX Anarchy and Kingdom Under Fire 2.
When CoD, Madden, and any other re-hashed series dies.
2 things:
1) It's not an FPSMMO
2) FPSMMOs have worked fine in the past. Look at games like Planetside.
Shift 2 looks good, but as a few people already stated, it's fooling to say that it's " The Real Racing Simulator". It's more to an arcade racer with sim elements.
If you liked 5, then from the changes they made and such, you'll like 7. It's weird. The odd-numbered DW games are usually the changers, while the even numbered ones are meh. :p
Chronicle mode and Online play, actually extending past the 3 dynasties, everyone has their own unique move, can use 2 types of weapons per character, towns, cinematic system, enemies fight back more aggressively, etc.
Also the game technically is exclusive in Japan on the PS...
I find it both funny and sad that people disagree with me being in our armed forces. N4G has a trolling issue going on.
@undercovrr
How is it any different than console users going against other console users, bragging about "this system is better than the other"?
Least here there's some form of actual facts. People are bragging about it, but as a multi-platform/console user myself, I know how to set myself up so that I can satisfy myself using the Wii/360/PS3/PC, and honestly people should attempt to make companies a better service for you.
You do know that's a PSP game PORTED right?
There's a difference between a game made on the Iphone vs a game ported to the Iphone.
If you wanted to use an example, you should have used Critter Crunch. That right there is a game that was an app ported to the console and can be classified as a mainstream style game.
I'm commenting on the way how you used your example, not the statement.
With the age of digital downloading showing up, it shouldn't really be an issue.
What's really funny is people considering 3GB big, when 1TB drives exist in the world, and even then, you can get a 500 GB one for the PS3 cheaper than a console game. :p
That WoW number had duplicates and multi accounts.
Still even then 17k is very very low for an MMO.
I dunno if loved is the true word.
People went "WOW THIS IS AMAZING" for like the first half-hour- 1 hour, and then realized it's repetitive later on, and hypocritical into what they show with their commercials ragging on other FPS games.
It's far from a horrible game, but it lacks with the content. I rented it from Gamefly, and it's not bad.
"Main point: EVERYONE here is capable of doing things that are more productive...yet we don't. And still, you find it okay to point the finger at other people. Your being a hypocrite."
How the **** is stealing and damaging companies the same as sitting at home complaining on the net?
Thing is I'm putting my skills to use in our armed forces. Why can't people like this guy do the same instead of needlessly going after large corporations?...
the PC did this ages ago through the use of user content networking modding.
