Unfortunately most people around on this site don't care too much about demoing the actual thing now. =|
"Portal 2 is far worse than Portal 1. Not much else to say about it really..."
Some steel logic right thur...
@BoB570 The game's out now.
So technically no, it's not fail.
It's a clear-cut statement.
-The fact that PS3/PC owners can cross-platform play means Live is restrictive in it's own way.
-Be able to get content for free on both PS3 and PC version, and not get charged purposely.
They're getting back at MS for a lot of things people don't even realize with.
Devilish, they already pulled moves like this. Making L4D on PC CHEAPER than the DLC on 360.
Rybak:
Co-op is a 2nd campaign, which also clocks in at the same timeframe
So 10+10= 20.
You haven't see the casts of the game where SP was being clocked at 10 hours. :p
And how was it "fixed from the start"? The games weren't even in the Top 10 played, so again, how is this their fault for everyone not wanting to participate.
Instead people are just putting blame on a company instead of not appointing in the fact that many DID NOT participate.
Last I check you still helped even if you had some of the games in the pack.
I'm a little confused here.
How is it Valve's fault for people being impatient?
To be honest I don't see how this is exactly a scam. If at least 90% of those wanted to unlock the game early, then all those bars would have been full.
There's people out there with patience waiting for Tues.
What happened to trolls being good?
Now it's just stupidity.
I saw that when it first started. It was actually pretty funny and awesome at the same time.
@MEGATRON D
Either way, he's right about us being babies in such a silly way.
Seeing a person kill 100s of people? Oh that's ok.
The instant you see a nipple? PROTECT THE CHILDREN.
>_>
*here.
typos XD
And that's not counting the co-op portion as well, which is it's own thing. :)
Woah woah woah now..What have we said about using logic around her?
There's a difference between stating something, and being an ass about it.
"People who are in debt go on vacation all the time. For all you know someone else, and not the people donating money to his defense, could have paid for this vacation for him. It could have been a gift from parents or relatives. You absolutely do not know. "
Yes. There's also a thing called "postponing it". It's not the method of how he got the trip, it's using it in midst of this whole situation.
Yea it was in an article a little while back and on the official minecraft forums.
adamant that still falls under his statement at the moment.
If they were (and i'm using your name here in a pun sort of way) adamant towards that statement, then honestly it would have been there on release, not something that is to be put in MONTHS later.
That just falls way under the whole consolized situation, where we pay for a "beta" of a game first, and THEN they release pieces later.
It's about the ARG that valve's doing which would allow PC gamers to play Portal 2 early.
Basically there's secrets around both in games, and outside, that when you find them, nets you a potato for each secret you find onto your profile.
The more you have, the more of a multiplier it gives when helping release the game.
"Press copies of Portal 2 hit journalists' hands last week, so it's safe to assume that the game has been completely done for at least two weeks"
I'm wondering why did he state this, as if it was rare to happen, in which it's common for reviewers to get games ahead of time, hence why we see reviews come out around the same time as games. >_>
