I think the lack of Backward Compatibility is to blame... most of the general public has no idea that the 40GB PS3 can't play PS2 games.
I agree... Spiderman 3 was just too long and the whole team up at the end with Harry just screamed "Disney Moment"
good god I was joking about taking out the binoculars... seriously it makes more sense to buy the game based on which controller you like more
the last video game comparison I actually cared about was the differences between the SNES and Genesis versions of Mortal Kombat (one had blood the other didn't)
wow you think with such anger expressed by people in these posts that something negative was said about the PS3 and yet the PS3 was't even brought up.
Just an article about a game that is looking more and more like the RPG of the Year created by the top RPG developer in the world.
@Premonition: I meant the article itself but I know what you mean you can't have one article without someone dissing either the PS3 or Xbox360 two posts in.
bah they could have just put the entire game on 2 DVDs
I still think the short single player game experience was more due to getting game out this year then anything else.
completely agree.. as I sad anyone excepting a PS2/Xbox difference this generation is going to be disappointed. Sure there will be the odd game but these games will be rare.
I agree, most likely it has something do with people automatically expecting backward comp. and the problem will continue to happen unless Sony wants to a big "No Backward Comp." on the front of the book.
Backward Comp. is automatically expect now with every new console.
I liked FEAR so while I am interested in FEAR Files, with everything else coming out this month. I will probably wait in till next year to either rent or buy (depending on price).
looks like it's bring out the binoculars time
I say to the GDC. Invite Jack Thompson to speak. It will give developers / publishers a good glance how Jack wants to censor the industry.
I want a Silicon Knights also made the first game in the Legacy of Kain series... I would love it, if they made a proper sequel to the first game.
Too Human is also looking pretty good, of course I am bias since I love Norse mythology and cyberpunk.
My wife loves World of Warcraft and more casual friendly video games (ie Viva Pinta). I still have to teach her how to correctly double jump.
Half-Life 2 is also a good example of good story-telling, with it's storyline, scripted sequences and audio.
Doesn't really matter, fanboys already make up information and treat it as fact, this just gives them another fact they can make up.
congrats that's one of the stupidest theories I have ever heard
edit:
yeah like I care about the number of agrees or disagrees... with the amount of people on n4g that have multiple accounts it's not an accurate way to measure the quality of a post
I remember playing that game over and over again when it first came out.
bah that's why I never look at the user score
Personally I am buying the game for my x360 because I prefer the 360 controller over the PS3 controller.
There will be tons of comparisons in a few days but from what I've heard any differences arn't really noticeable.
< looks over at his kiddy/family xbox360 games... Viva Pinta, Beautiful Katamari, Blue Dragon
Seriously the whole the xbox360 only has shooters argument is just as stupid as the PS3 doesn't have any games argument. I guess what ever makes it easier for fanboys to sleep at night.
not surprising with GTA IV being such a big title. It makes sense to push it for a fall release and cash in on the next holiday season.
