I usually find emotional/sad scenes funny, Gears 2 scene joined a long list of other emotional scenes I found funny.
Final Fantasy 7
Metal Gear Solid 4
Fable 2
Personally I'm getting bored of war-based FPS. Though they have always been hit or miss with me.
I do think we need more story-based FPS (ie Half-Life, BioShock).
I don't know if I should be impressed or laugh.
If it's a jab at how serious fanboys take themselves then bravo. If you are actually being serious you need help.
Really you like Rico? Every time he opened his mouth I wanted to shoot out his knees and leave him to die.
I was hoping for friendly fire option in Killzone 3.
The only bias I see in video game reviews is the bias of opinion. People seem to scream bias when a reviewer doesn't have the same opinion of a game as they do.
well said
It's a shame it didn't sell well, the storyline and character development was amazing. The game did have it's flaws but it would have been a great start of a new franchise.
@jackinthexbox: generic response from a generic troll
I'd rather just Joystiq opinion then some random n4g person with the oh so original 3 red lights photo.
Am I playing a different game here?
How can you say that every reviewer is wrong about the single player portion, when the game hasn't even been released yet.
I'm all for personal preference but at least what in till you play the game before making that statement.
it's tinfoil hat time
Don't see what the big issue is. Reviews are opinions and nothing more.
Looking forward to all the games on this list. Though the game I'm most looking forward to this year is Mass Effect 3 which is closely followed by Elder Scrolls 5.
bah, useless post filled with stereotypical opinions of gamers
I completely agree, just look at all the amazing 10/10 scores that Fable 3 and Alan Wake received this year. </joke>
Exclusive or multi it doesn't matter... as long as the game is good.
Exclusives are just talked about more as it makes it easier for children to hate/dislike a console.
It depends if Mass Effect 3 is released in 2011 then yes, if its delayed then no.
honesty 2011 is looking pretty good year for gaming (with or with out ME3)
Heavy Rain was a great weekend rental game, just as Indigo Prophecy was. I really didn't find the game play all that unique but then I grew up playing adventure games.
sure you can
Why not he did have a hand in creating the original. It worked out well for Prince of Persia.
