Europe release and it looks like Atari is publishing it
same... great time to be a multi-console owner
I wouldn't give Assassin's Creed a "Failure of the year" award. There are just so many more deserving games like "Big Rigs" http://cgi.fark.com/cgi/far...
@MK_Red : didn't see Maestro post... probably since I have him on ignore
Looks like "Kane & Lynch" is going to be another above-average game (70% to 85%) score wise. I am probably going to pick it up in a few weeks since I am big fan of their past games and Micheal Mann.
Difficulty makes a big difference for gamers with limited time.
I play games to have fun and relax and don't have hours to spend doing the same thing over and over again.
I usually play games through on a easy-normal setting first and then depending on how much I enjoyed the gameplay I will often re-play the game at a harder difficulty.
While I don't agree with everything the writer says I do think that "Full HD" is just a marketing term to help sell new 1080p tvs.
9.0 not bad... I'll have to see if I can squeeze in Uncharted before my break because once my break comes along I will be owned by Mass Effect.
interesting their is a limit of what can and can not be done in a video game? and more importantly who is the all-seeing one that get's to decided the limit.
I would hate to live in Singapore at the moment.
again blog is to bias to be taken seriously
Probably all 360 IPs, since MS gets first-refusal rights to any game that Bungie creates.
I disagree, I found all 3 Halo games to excellent and if anything the quality of the games have increased (espically in level design), but I guess to it each it's own since I found after the first MGS game that the series has gone downhill.
You do know that the story/poem of Beowulf is one the oldest pieces of literature in the english language.
Sure the game might have borrowed elements from "God of War" but then again most developers borrow ideas from each other.
don't worry Midway is going to pass on the joy to PS3 owners as well
EDIT: A little late for Halloween... but I don't want to be Jimmy's parents when they buy little Jimmy "Blacksite" for xmas.
The only reason Alan Wake was hyped was due to the developer (Remedy), who developed Max Payne. Personally it's near the top of my list for games to play in 2008.
I saw your post/blog... sorry even if it is Alan Wake your post was just to bias to be taken seriously.
what a lame blog... first it has the nerve to call itself "The one stop you need to take for all your 100% unbiased videogame insight!"
Then through the entire post comments on how MS has nothing for 2008 and it's not like the PS logo plastered in the background helps. Doesn't help that the blog's color scheme is one of the worst I've ever seen.
I second that... nothing like a well designed platform game.
Great list... personally I am buying every game on that list except for The Orange Box since I own it already.
I would have had the "Soul Reaver" in the list somewhere... nothing better then a sword that steals the soul of your enemies
another great game to buy this year... thankfully fall/winter is my busy season
