I keep forgetting about Assassin's Creed what a great year to be a gamer
It usually happens with any article that praises the x360 . Post an article about Halo / PGR4 and bring on the small minded idiots (ie nasim).
Unless Bioware really messes up, Mass Effect is pretty much guaranteed to be MY game of the year.
Personally I always preferred the Splinter Cell over every MGS game except for the MGS1.
I love how Sony fanboys consider MGS on another level then Splinter Cell, when both series are highly rated and the rest is personal choice.
Overall a good list, sure is missing a few titles that I want to play (ie Witcher). But this is a site's personal wish list why anyone is taking offense to it is beyond me.
Gabe never said that the Cell processor wasn't a beast he just doesn't like it compared to other multi-core processors
@Ju : Thanks for the brief rundown I know nothing about multi-core programming (or programming in general) and it was very informative.
Interesting interview the only reason for Gabe's dislike of the PS3 has to do with the Cell processor because it is so different from everything else on the market.
So while developers are trying to learn how to code multi-core processors. They know have 2 different approaches to learn
1) X360, PC, MAC
2) PS3
Great time to be a multi-console gamer. I'll probably either give Fokelore a rent or purchase in a week from now. Still have to finish Metroid Prime 3.
Funny thing is that both Bioshock and Halo3 are from the some of top game developers in the world.
While Frontier Developments has an unproven track record with a few roller coaster games and a game based on a movie (Curse of the WereRabbit). So sorry if I think that Frontier Developments is one of the last companies to state what is and what isn't a next-gen game.
@MK_Red
I'm the same if it has Clive Barkers name on it I will buy it. Clive Barker is one of my favorite authors. I was hoping for something like Undying but the tactical elements sort of makes up for it.
Nice... while FEAR may just be another corridor shooter I am looking forward to trying out the expansion packs.
wow no wonder musicians are starting to venture out on their own (ie Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails) instead of watching record companies nickel and dime their listeners.
Personally I buy hard copies of albums and then convert them to high-quality mp3's (320kbps) for my mp3 player. I guess I must be stealing.
Nice idea for a shirt, but I wouldn't buy the one shown. I don't like the crayon looking lines and white isn't my color. Maybe I'll just have to make up my own and get it printed.
wow there is much anger in you
SOF1 & SOF2 weren't bad. SOF3 might make for a good rental
Interesting I bet the results will inclusive. Media effects people in different ways.
You don't call yourself a fanboy yet you spend time writing a pointless entry in your "blog". I wouldn't even call it blog, more like a angry post of someone who is too emotionally involved in the (so-called) console war.
ME I just use this site to relax while at work and discuss various upcoming video games.
Congrats on being the first person on this website to call me a MS fanboy and let me know when you get a real blog.
"So you tell me, how short sighted is it of you to go out and by a 360 now when it can only be downhill for the console."
That one sentence says it all... This article has no right to have the name truth in it's title. I am surprised this post was even approved espically since Sony fanboys have always included the HD-DVD addon as a way to make the PS3 seems cheaper then xbox360.
interesting... I might have to give this game a rent sometime over the next few weeks.
2007 so far has been a great year for less hyped but still amazing games. I am still having fun playing Overlord.
I had a bad feeling that Bioware is going to have a mass exodus of talent once Mass Effect has been completed. Which would terrible since it would mean that future Mass Effect titles might have a quality issue.
